If you are going to talk about Enel or Oda being wrong, actually create an interesting post about it. "Oda is Enel." and "Oda is God? no?" are not valid, interesting, or needed posts. | ||

These jokes about Enel and Oda being wrong are ones that developed here. It's part of the fun of this thread for a lot of people. If it isn't for you then feel free to introduce different topics. But telling people not to have fun and joke around just because you don't enjoy this thread being bumped with content you personally don't enjoy is not cool. + Show Spoiler + 3. There is a difference between having a discussion about how powerful you think Enel is, or how you think things Oda has said are conflicting with the manga, and saying "enel is god" I made a simple request, and appealed to the forum rules supporting that when you flat out rejected that request. Our opinions differ, there's nothing else to it. Let people have fun. There's a time for serious discussion (which we have a lot in here as well) and there's fun. It's a natural thing and shouldn't be forced. Let people talk about what they want to talk about. That's all I have to say. Oh and if you feel like posts don't meet the forum's standards then you're always welcome to report them. | ||

Just spouting catch phrases gets really old really quick. Raneth is right about that. Oda is wrong etc. are just catch phrases. It's the equivalent of a post just showing us the One Piece logo, and then expect us to be entertained because we like One Piece. | ||

How could the Strawhats defeat Shiki one of Roger's rivals and a previous Admiral, but nobody cares including the Marines. When does the film Z take place when post time skip the crew was running a very tight schedule going to Punk Hazard immediately after getting to the surface? After Punk Hazard they had deal with the time sensitive Donflamingo announcement. While the character Shiki does exist even in the manga it doesn't feel like canon it is when the events are never acknowledged or referenced even if the movies were Oda approved. Though I think it's a bit much to claim all things revealed in the anime/movies are meaningless as I'm sure character information will carry over which was the original dispute. For example Coby's strength post time skip which has only been seen in the anime is probably canon and will be reintroduced to manga only readers when Coby shows up again along with his new appearance and rank. The background for the mysterious Shichibukai will similarly stay the same, he will have sliced a previous Admirals arm off even though and they may or may not mention his name, but will definitely not mention what Zephyr did. | ||

Kuzan's first post time skip appearance was in the Z film showing him having lost part of his right leg and now using his DF to make a prosthetic leg. It's probably canon and it's probably canon in the manga too. Film Z was released Dec 2012 while the chapter where he saved Smoker was released Feb 2013. | ||

But considering that Strong World and Film Z did come from Oda, that puts a different spin on them. Like Paperplane says, it basically makes them a "What If" scenario. The source information that the movies are built around all came from the same guy who writes the "canon". Which would mean that Shiki did exist, and Z did exist. And if the Strawhats did confront them, things would have probably gone down they way they did in the movies. I personally think using the word "canon" and "not canon" is silly. I'd rather call the Movie Events "unofficial". | ||
