Funny that he's so cowardly though. I mean, I know that's Ussop, but there's good moments of cowardice and then there's bad ones like this. Then again, maybe it's a mini-red herring by Oda. | ||

Having his back against the wall, while alone with no backup to speak of (aka, thinking Franky would bail him out this time, but Franky isn't planning to show up there anytime soon), and then having to swallow his fear and fight anyway seems kinda like a tailor made situation for Usopp to progress forward. Will probably get a nudge from somewhere to get him going, though. | ||

No complaint on that because everyone in SH is just too cool lol they need a clown for the laughs. Even their pet is super cool in the demon form. Wonder if chopper will show off that in this chapter. | ||

On another note, we haven't seen anyone with a DF be turned into a toy and not receive a contract, right? If people retain their DF abilities while a toy (I guess we don't know this yet), couldn't Sugar in theory turn herself into a toy and make everyone forget her as a defensive move? Then she untoys herself when in a safe spot. I'm also hoping she didn't have time to put Robin under a contract, in which case Robin might still be of some sort of use. Perhaps she will find Usopp and make him fight lol | ||
