She's my second favorite in the crew so I guess I'm bias as hell.

If thats your measuring stick, Nami should be the most cruel character on the crew considering how she treats all the guys on the crew regularly.

I don't think Nami ever went as far as Robin.

I have started to watch the anime and holy guacamole, fillers. After skypiea it's 15 episodes til the foxy pirates and after the foxy pirates it's 10 episodes before they meet aokiji(which was supposed to be literally on the same island after foxy).
I just wanted to watch water 7 in the anime once and thought I'd start right after skypiea. I underestimated the severeness of fillers.

An episode list to identify filler episodes is your friend.

The G8 arc right after Skypeia is filler, but its a legit good filler arc.

Please, the amount of One Piece fillers is NOTHING compared to Naruto. XD
Plus, One Piece fillers are pretty good.

They're all right but something annoying with them is they skew the power levels pretty badly. Luffy borderline losing to that long arm guy from Z's navy pirates (Z movie was actually pretty good) and requiring the giant in him to power up is just stupid :p
G8 was really good though.

I really wonder since the Straw hats are gaining more and more power/fame if when they (probably) will fight more with the world government if Dragon will come to him to help out in his revolution. I mean when you think about it, Luffy and company have left a lot of grateful countries in their wake. Could very well help legitimize their cause when they have Kings of countries liking them.
Will be really interesting in the scale of world politics if Oda ever does that (plus maybe we can see Vivi again). Will One Piece go towards the World Government losing power? Those Pontoglyphs also probably have a lot of their dirty secrets written on them as well (and Robin one of the few who can read them).

It's widely speculated that the strawhats final battle (after finding raftel and the forgotten story) will be an all out battle against the World Government with all their allies.
To me it makes sense since we just had the War of the greatest with Whitebeard and another big pirate with Wg war shouldn't anytime soon. The younkou and underworld give us enough material to deal with the next decade. Heck, Dress Rosa alone with the Zou and Wano Country followup and all the other Kaidou/Big Mama issues, the current Saga might as well not finish for another 5 years.

One Piece filler is really bad with power levels and such, both making them weaker and stronger. I remember the 1000 year dragon filler arc had Zoro being like "yeah I can cut steel, there is nothing I can't cut", and this was long before Alabasta and his fight with Mr.1.

Maybe people can survive bullets through their brain in One Piece.

It was "Yeah, I can cut steel, there is nothing I can't cut", followed by him easily cutting these massive steel chains that were trapping the Going Merry. That isn't exaggeration, guy, that's what actually happened: + Show Spoiler +

Yeah also Zoro being surprised at seeing a dragon at punk hazard when you get an entire flock of them in that filler story.
:p plot holes within plot holes, though it's not too bad.

Fillers aren't generally canon (unsure if there's any OP fillers that are), so that's likely not a plot hole.
