Damn ehat a chapter laaaaaaw
Franky character development and luffy will go on a rampage. Kora-san doesnt seem Iike a lover since hencalled her san. Maybe mentor or friend. Interesting that he seems to know sth about will of the d.
I absolutely love diamantes character and dellinger seems like a draq haha.

It's a one week hiatus, calm down people.

There's one of 2 reasons Doflamingo is using a gun to execute Law:
1. Guns are non-lethal in One Piece and Law is alive. Oda wanted to make it clear Doflamingo is not killing him.
2. Oda is using his popularity to push anti-gun legislation in Japan and is taking bribes from politicians to show firearms in a negative light in his comic. One Piece is Liberal propaganda.

Don is so big. He seems to tower over everyone. I never recalled him being so huge when he was 1st introduced.
But shiiiit is about to go down! DAMN this manga never fails.

and japan has strong gun laws already so option 2 is out.

I think its really strange that law and DF appeared in dressrosa randomly. Either DF took him there to kill him in public or law moved there to die in front of luffy. The will of d seems to go berserk whenever someone dies in front of them.
Edit: My guess is that he uses a gun to hide his powers in public. Not everyone seems to know what he can do so there's some secrecy behind it.

I'd say it was used for the apparent brutality in this case.
|
I think both you guys are right, he doesn't want people to know and it's the brutal factor also!
this chapter was amazing.. so much depth
|
option 1 is wrong, as well.... One Piece universe's very strongest man was killed by guns.
|
Belle-Mere was also killed by a gun, though it was also a headshot...
|
I like how Franky said this country which we thought is totally awesome "has a really dark shadow".
Considering this island is based on Spain and it has a really dark and still too recent past of fascist dictatorship.
|
Guns are just part of the whole pirate theme. I wouldn't be surprised if the bullets were sea stone.

God i hate Oda... first my dear Ace and now Law?
stop hurting my favorite character T_T

The scene is so similar to how Arlong Kill Nami Mom.
Where does non-lethal Gun thing came about?

Really good chapter. As much as I would love it I doubt Law is dead. Given the nature of his Df and the fact hes a doctor I can see him avoiding fatal injuries being a possibility but them white eyes man. Im honestly surprised that Law managed to scratch DD tbh. Guess he really is that strong.

Let be honest, bullet and cannon are like shuriken in naruto. They are weapon that will never kill anything and is only there to make fight look cool with all the dodging and stuff.

Sickest ch in a long while. I have to be honest I first didn't understand what the whole thing in the middle with the marines not remembering the names meant but after checking upon wikia it was suddenly not just clear but an amazing Oda-ish move.
Great, great, great, chapter.

Everyone loves Law, but I'd have mad respect for Oda if he's willing to let this character die.
