Im switching to Manga because i love OP but damn these voiceovers just completely killed it in under 5 episodes for me rofl. Not waiting years for dubs that may or may not happen. Its a shame. | ||

For now though - Its a combination of ussop sounding even more retarded then before - Luffy sounding like a whiny little bitch child, Zoro is some sort of weird stalker and i guess chopper/nami/robin are ok after the change, i can sorta tolerate franky but im watching enies lobby atm so i didnt hear him for so long like the others, still prefer english dubs for all of them. sanji just sounds like a dirty deranged perverti mean yeah, thats his character i suppose, but he really comes across as unlikable with that voice and tones he uses and it just puts me off entirely. Perhaps im just not used to it and the actors portray the characters differently to the english dubs. Probably has alot to do with it tbh but the voices still REALLY aggravate me. Also the language they use is really grating at times to me too (I mean its all japanese, anime i mean but the constant Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! and more in OP is really fucking annoying.) A combination of these things lead to me not being able to enjoy it anymore with the constant screeching annoying voices and others sounding like they're ready to dose me full of rohypnol and go to town on me. Then you add in all the annoying language they are using and it just adds up to an unenjoyable experience. I mean ive watched alot of japanese dubs for alot of different things and never once not enjoyed listening to the language. I dont know what makes OP so god damn annoying with it. And yeah no, Naruto dubs arent "good" but they arent terrible like i consider OP's to be either. | ||

I watch all my anime with subs. But I cannot for the life of me watch DBZ with subs, I need the dubs. Goku just sounds so fucking weird with his original voice and I need his English voice. Just how I grew up and expected him to sound. Doesn't really matter just preference, but subs are usually much better imo though. | ||

It's entirely understandable to be bothered by completely different voices after 300 episodes of the same. Now all you have to do is watch the next 300 episodes with the Japanese voices, then you'll get used to those  They really are excellent, objectively. | ||
