He apreciates freedom and being a king or governor that allow that.. Whitebeard wanted a family so each and every one under his wing as atleast valued enough not be discarted even if they were less powerfull Kaidoo and Big mum on the other hand want to rule, conquer, plunder and have a great deal of people around them that serve a purpose or not and can be thrown away. The Strawhats might not just escape Big Mom. There is potential for a Big Mom overthrow if the Strawhats can release all the prisoners and beasts, along with Capone's betrayal and Germa ending up against Big Mom. Her vast territories that she extorts won't come to help her either if she shows weakness. They'd love to overthrow her if a suitable replacement for protection could be found. | ||

However the times she seems to have self control is with strange and weird creatures. It is possible she has an army worth of strange and powerful new world beasts and weirdos trapped in her collection. | ||

Whitebeard was no longer the strongest during marineford. He was having heart attacks during fights and he was just merely shell of his former self. I mean he did nothing to kizaru or Aokiji. Kizaru and Aokiji actually damaged Whitebeard. Akainu gave Whitebeard the most fatal damages until Whitebeard sneak attacked Akainu with quake punch to the back. | ||

It's Johns famous Glass Armband, where it leads to his legendary treasure. he was notable for collecting one of the most significant treasures in the One Piece world. His treasure was never found and became the subject of one of the great myths You can read his Wiki page here http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/John Buggy got this from Luffy in return of showing him the way in Impel Down. It's a perfect way to add Buggy to story in New World, also Buggy having the most precious thing in New World would be both hilarious and totally fitting for him.
