theres no giants on the island, and she made a wierd face when it was brought up and shes working on giantifcation

well yea it's true that after reading again, a marriage with a giant seems the most logical way, but then again i forgot about enel

of course only enel could give the edge in term of power to crush the WG and other's yonko

I completely forgot about Big Mom getting Caesar to research Giantification. At this point I'd be extremely surprised if Lola's marriage didn't have something to do with giants.

There is some further evidence to it as well. Lola and crew were trapped on Thriller Bark for 3 years. Add another year for the Time Skip, and that was 4 years ago when they first got captured.

The Chemical Weapons incident on Punk Hazard happened 4 years ago in the manga. Caesar returned shortly after that, and began his work on Giantification.

The timing works out here. Lola had some marriage arrangement with Giants, Lola peaces out and ends up captured by Moria, and Big Mom gets Caesar to start researching Giantification right afterwards.

I'd love a cover story of Enel walking around Raftel with nothing to do because he got there so much earlier than everybody else. It would end with him thinking of the most exciting things to do and coming to the conclusion that conquering an island in the sky would be a good way to pass some time.
