I think Nagato and co are older thann kakashi and such as they were orphans of the second Shinobi war where as kakashi and Obito etc where still young during the third. Though I may be wrong.

Naruto's ending. Sasuke turned blind (Everthing started and ended in the eyes). Naruto died trying to save sasuke.

I think the ending will be grimdark. When many core characters died in the pain vs naruto fight, kishi most likely got some angry mail from a lot of parents that their kids don´t like them being dead. Has happened multiple times before(in japan).
The bloody Obito chapter is Kishi trying to scare away the people who like happy endings. So I guess at the next ending attempt, a couple of core characters are gonna bite it(again), Sasuke doing an unmotivated "I wanna be a villain forever" turn(because Orochimaru had the same relationship with Jiraiya) and either Hinata or Sakura dying for good(so it´s finally clear who is supposed to be his love interest).

I bet Orochimaru will tell Sasuke everything that he needs to know and how Itachi wanted to protect Konoha. After that Sasuke will have a change of heart and arrive just in time to join the fight and help Naruto.

Good chapter though. I'm hoping issue 50 will pick up and have some real fighting, not the bs fighting we got in the war arc. Too bad it's on break next week though.

I'm curious how Orochimaru is gonna fit in all this. Hopefully he's here to stay.
Something tells me though, that after Shippudden, that were gonna get a third part were everyone's an adult. Naruto is defiantly one of those things I can say I grew up on.

Nah, in order to win, Naruto and Sasuke need to perform the "fusion dance" to complete the sage of the six paths bloodline or being. Maybe that is the secret technique Orochimaru was working on in the scroll? Or maybe just Naruto getting his face on Sasuke's chest while keeping Naruto personality =P
I doesn't make sense that Naruto could do anything to Madara given that he has Uchiha eyes and the suppression skills of the 1st hokage against any tailed beast (on the nine tails specifically). Madara should just be passing the time with Naruto or you'll get a "poof! that Madara was just a bunshin, where is the real madara?"
