Wouldn't that make HER the irregular and not Baam?
Anyways, I'm sure that'll get resolved later as it seems like the gatekeeper has some sort of stake in all this.
My understanding is that irregulars are chosen by the tower itself somehow, rather than by Headon. In Rachel's case she got in kinda by a glitch (although maybe that will also turn out to be part of some master plan, who knows) so she's different from all the other irregulars, although she still technically is one.

Koon and the Yellow haired female looking but actually male O_O tea loving admin had a argument (kinda) how they wanted Rachel to go up even though she was injured and the yellow admin said u have to follow the rules, koon says if you take a test given by guardians u can bypass the admin set rules, which yellow admin points out that only irregulars can talk with guardians or take the test with them or...something along those lines. Seeing how baam did take it, does that prove he's irregular? or just the admin have to "believe" the person is an irregular

You're right, it's pretty much confirmed 100% that Baam is an irregular

If he wasn't an irregular FUG would never have picked him up because regulars can't kill Zahard soooo yeah.

Only an Irregular can kill Zahard, which is why they're mentoring Baam for the role.

What was the reasoning that only an irregular could kill zahard? Afaik the 10 heads are the same as zahard and technically "irregulars" as well.

Regulars abide by the towers rules. Irregulars don't. Zahard has made a pact of immortality with one of the guardians, hence being considered unkillable by regulers.. (or smt along those lines)

Oh yea, I do remember this being mentioned now.

So perhaps FUG is letting Baam do this workshop battle is so he can observe and learn a great deal of techniques from other people? He can learn techniques just by observing them, so maybe that's FUG's intention.

Additionally as far as I understood this, irregulars "open the doors to the tower themselves". So, even while Rachel is "not supposed to be in the tower", she should remain a regular technically, because she got into the tower through headons (glitched or intentional?) transportation thingy.

Wrong SIU has stated her as an Irregular, the ToG wiki states her as an Irregular. A regular is when Headon appears before you. Since Headon never appeared before her she simply entered through the door Baam opened (as far as I interpret the situation) she is an Irregular, albeit an odd one.

There has been a lot of discussion about this topic ever since the flashback chapter you mentioned back in season 1, but since then it's been pretty much confirmed (I believe SIU stated it outright in one of the afterwords, but I don't have a source for that) that they're both irregulars, only Rachel seems to not have the otherwise customary overpowered skills that all the other irregulars seem to possess.

Also, do we know who that is with Rak?

Probably Dan. At least I hope so. Despite his legs' condition, I think he has the ability to pass that round (or rak could have just destroyed everyone but him).

Haha parakewl is hilarious. I think it's safe to say that Baam's team in season 3 will be different from this season. I expect Koon and Rak to join Viole and possibly Ran, Novick, Yihwa and wangnan (with the way he was hyped up, I think he's hiding something that even he does not know).
