Would have preferred to see more of Novick vs Refeljo though. They're both seem like they're crazy strong. but remember novick is much weaker than Ran, he loses everytime (not even close) when they were doing inhouse team rankings, back when they had the faster runner dude and the chicken thing[/QUOTE] Remember that this is Manhwa, and any character has the potential to pull some bullshit powerup out of his ass. Not as bad as DBZ, but it can still happen.

Ah man.
Novick is one of my favorite new characters because he doesn't seem to have bullshit powers and such but he seems to be the type that gets by with hard work and he also seems to have a good attitude. Reflejo on the other hand seems like something totally overpowered and considering how easily Ran beat Novick it's looking pretty bad for him. I guess the fight will be interrupted in some way.
Kind of interesting summons by Koon. I was sort of wondering why he summoned someone as weak as Akraptor but his team really is pretty weak. At least they now have 3 strong characters, Quatro's shinsou control is really strong if he's not vs someone like Baam, Rak should have gotten powerful(And he was pretty powerful already, definitely strong enough to be among the top of the new characters), and Yeon also should be able to accomplish something.
Still, it just feels like he's saving so so many points for something. He should have been able to summon far more people. He didn't even spend the full 500k bonus.
Oh yeah and also that was probably the most anticlimactic fight the manhwa has had thus far. I'm happy it didn't last too long and get in the way of the important story developments but that fight was one of the worst in ToG history.

I have a feeling the fight was originally gonna be longer or something but then his wrist problems flared up and he went to Germany so he had to cut it for time/draw something simpler instead.

Wrist problems. The bane of all Koreans since SC:BW days.

great chapter. finally some action and a huge chunk of the story is revealed

Damn, all this talk about hosts, souls and ignition weapons confuses me.
|
Hmmmm. Baam, as an irregular, is (I assume) compatible with the demon they put inside him. With this demon, you are able to activate the Thorn that Enryu left behind. With this Thorn, you can presumably kill Zahard.
FUG was (smartly) doubtful of Baam as a new Slayer who was going to be entrusted with their ultimate weapon and hopes, so they decided instead to bind Baam's soul to the weapon instead and then control the Thorn by binding it to someone, or creating another living ignition weapon like Cassano, Horyang, and Beta.
No idea how the binding Baam to the Thorn thing is supposed to work, but this is my understanding of things anyways.
Lero-ro is still out there, meaning Wolkhaiksong has a presence here apparently. Eager to see if Urek or Yuri make an appearance.
Also, still wondering who the fuck Emile is and why Beta and the Traveller are so hung up on her.
Lastly, Novick should officially be renamed Brovick.

Newest chapter, sex, same thing. It would be crazy if Enryuu showed up to take back the thorn, and Baam being made into an irregular was FUG's plan from the start.
|
Out of all the FUG in the tournament we've seen so far, is there anyone who seems ranker level? If reflejo and bhargav are only below ranker strength then wolhaiksong sending only Leroro is more than enough. Then again there is this high ranker with Viole in the past chapters. Pretty sad realizing now that FUG's plan all along was to make Baam into a slave. That high ranker guy really conned him big time. Unfortunately, going by SIU's track record and the way this manhwa is going, all out fights between above ranker-level guys are probably not happening soon.
I got so used to bleach that I'm beginning to assume that Baam's going super saiyan and one shot everyone...

This is the second time Baam has been betrayed and thrown off a cliff / into the ocean. You have got to choose your friends more carefully boy!
|
|
:\ I wanted to see Baam tear some shit up. This betrayal and insta-gib is kind of lame, especially with so much build up..
