My temporal dynamics aren't strong. I think that memories will stay. Same for the damage done to the city. I like that they couldn't slay any dragon. That makes things more interesting. I mean... the legendary dragons stay legendary and imba. Thats the way it should be.

if gate is destroyed and dragons go back that means time continues as normal from the entry point but that means the gate isn't destroyed which means dragons also again like i give a fuck about nalu what a bad way to end the arc like 87.23% sure ultear isn't dead either

Hiro obviously doesn't know how time travel theoretically impacts things and how easy it is for paradoxes to occur. I'm pretty sure there more than I could count, and nothing changed more than the ones not of that time going back to their own time and then it's assumed nothing changed with that newfound knowledge. Unlikely. "Hey Dragneel, I met your son 300 years from now, he's a nice kid, name's Natsu."

The dragons came from another timeline to this one through the gate. After going through, they were no longer in their old timeline (which would cause a shit ton of other issues, but whatever). The gate was destroyed, but that should have no impact on anything other than making sure it can't be used again. Closing the gate didn't send them back either. Can someone explain to me the theory where the dragons have some kind of connection to the gate?

The gate being broken means the gate could never be used to go back in time by rogue, thus the dragons would never come forward. Of course, this would also mean the entire conflict could have never happened. Not to mention it was a dragon coming forward in time that broke the gate, which the dragon would have never been able to do if the gate had been broken because none of this could have happened to begin with. Oh time travel....

I guess you can't expect him to transition from 1 arc straight to another without some light-hearted fun and fan service.w00t, 3 MORE chapters next week.
