But... + Show Spoiler +Lets not forget that this entire arc is about time travel. Even if Gray really did just die, he won't stay dead for long.

+ Show Spoiler +To be honest while I was shocked for a second, I didn't even give a second thought to Gray really just dying. Especially with Gray being one of the main characters and the manga being in a time-travel arc right now, there's just no way this one is for keeps...

Either Ultear will ressurect him somehow (possibly SHE sacrificing her own life to save Grey's) or We'll be jumping through the magic zodiac gate ourselves along with Natsu in the future chapters...

grays definently dead theres just gonna be some time travel for him to come back to life

what are the odds it's something simple to make lucy relevant again ie. combining ultear's powers with the 12 zodiac keys to break the rules somehow (presumably with some kind of sacrifice so it's never repeatable - ultear's powers?)
it'd be cool if someone actually died but I don't see it fitting with ft's happy ending habits
like if hiro was ok with killing 'important' people then why's lisanna alive. he brought her back then did nothing with the character lol

were in an arc that has more time travelling and time lines then is supposed to be possible im pretty sure taht everything thats currently happening will get erased
hell i could see everyone who had been on Tenrou jumping back 7 years and them jsut resetting the time skip

It would be great if something like that happened. I lost faith for deaths and some reality in shonens though, they couldn't even kill Teppei in Toriko after showing his head in a bowl of fruit.
I find the whole dragons thing enjoyable, it could go in so many ways and advance the main plot of the manga.

What's great is that even if Gray actually is dead (which I doubt) the impact of his death is completely lost because nobody can possibly believe it.

Man if he doesn't stay dead I'm just gonna lose all hope for Shonen mangas. Why must they do this to us all the damn time. At least One Piece keeps them dead even if only one person has died.
