knowing they are the original source of magic it will not be surprising if each branch of magic corresponds to a specie of a dragon would be kinda hard to find the disentragate dragon

They will open the Eclipse thingy accidentally releasing the dragon clusterfuck, and they'll look really silly by doing so.

If the dragons are really from the present, then my guess is that they are here to stop some OTHER apocalypse, like activating the Eclipse, or it´s something to do with the dragon graveyard. From what we´ve seen of dragons so far I don´t think they are going on a murderous rampage for no reason.

igneel, grandine and metalica are probably a part of the group of dragons who originally taught humans dragonslayer magic

I like Gajeel taking a page out of Natsu's book. I'm looking forward to next chapter for sure.
My question is, when exactly did Rogue get his dragon training if Gajeel mentored him in Phantom Lord? Continuity wise I'm confused. It's either: a) Rogue always had dragon training and Gajeel always knew, even though this was never made significant before. I also doubt Rogue "killed his dragon" before being mentored by Gajeel, so I see faults in this idea. or b) Rogue got his dragon training during some period AFTER Gajeel left Phantom Lord, indicating that dragons are still in existence which should be a big deal to the Fairy Tail dragonslayers.

Rogue and sting killing there dragons is obviously complete BS and there just talking big, or maybe they think they killed them because of there sudden disapearence maybe they jsut so happened to have a fight with them the day before they disapeared

The last chapter just confused the hell out of me. First Rogue gets possessed then Gajeel seems to be possessed too after eating the shadow stuff.

Hmm, it also seems like the shadow magic might have been that strange magic that Jellal and the rest of Crime Sorciere noticed from the previous years.
Gajeel now reminds me of Venom in that last panel.

something i jsut rmeembered, the eisenwald dark guild led by the wind dude had a couple mages who used shadow magic, and Erza thought it was wierd that they managed to find such a dangerous item like Zerefs flute so easily and the shinigami wind guy escaped
might be a connection here

It's not even a coincidence?
I still say 'possessed by evil' after eating the shadow stuff.

without any sort of conclusive evidence
also the Shadow is trying to kill Gajeel why would the Shadow help him at all?
i wouldnt be surprised if eventaully alter on the shadow comes backa nd starts whispering to Gajeel and trying to drive him crazy but right now? no way in hell

It's a simple matter of being influenced by an evil force. The shadow is quite evidently "evil", as Rogue's pet didn't even know who possessing Rogue was. Gajeel ate the evil shadow force and was influenced by the evilness, i.e. "possessed/influenced by evil". It was a large change in personality, he didn't just want to intimidate him as I believe was your argument.

well aside from the normal harm that eating something outside your element does to dragonslayers

After reading the latest chapter, I got a Transformers movie 1986 flashback. It sort of resembles the fight between the bosses in the beginning. The manga only lacks the soundtrack "you got the touch, you got the power!!!!!"
Hehe!
