Time travel is so Rave-like.
Those 5 Garou Knights or whatever that all got owned in one chapter was also taken from Rave.
Future Lucy means there will also Future Natsu,Erza,Gray, etc.
Guys,I recommended you read Rave Master. Just by reading that you can foresight the later chapters of FT. spoil me plz
Future Lucy will then tell the stories of the future and how many of her friends has died to Natsu and co. She will then tell them that she came back to change the past.
Meanwhile,Erza proceed to emerge victorious from the three-way engagement between her,Kagura and Minerva after a hard-fought battle.
Minerva then loses and Erza gives her a heavy lecture about nakama or whatever.
Frankly speaking,Fairy Tail is very predictable if you read both Fairy tail from the beginning to the current arc. Just read all of Mashima manga and then you can get an idea on how he proceed his story. It's not hard.
I mean literally everybody was predicting that black-hooded girl to be Future Lucy. Guess what? Everybody was right.

im increasingly convinced the end of the world thing is a troll in reference to 12/21/12

Well she didn't really show up for the last 5 chapters.. so 1+ month? Also it was hinted that person was related to Zerif.

Rave was heavily centered around the time-space powers of Ellie. I like that Mashima occasionally does quite clear throwbacks like Erza Nightwalker's weapon and appearances of people, but come on. To say it's all from Rave?
...that said I'm totally going to go read Rave again. Freaking love that manga.
All from Rave?
I love Rave but the amount of similarities of Rave to FT is absurd.
1. Natsu is the spitting image of Haru 2. Lucy is the spitting image of Elie with just longer hair. Both of them has time-space powers. 3.Musica is spitting image of Gray 4. Plue from Rave is the exact same Celestial Spirit that Lucy has. 5.Sieghart from Ravemaster is the EXACT SAME COPY with Gerard in FT.lol The spells they used are also similar. 6.Oracion Six from Rave is Oracion Seis in FT. 7.Etherion is a uber powerful magic spell in Rave and in FT it is an uber powerful magic weapon. etc, etc, etc, etc
The point is Mashima can use plot devices but it doesn't have to be TIME-TRAVEL which he already used it in Rave(Elie). Now he is doing it again with Lucy. Mashima should be more creative and use some other plot devices.

and no Lucy does not have space/time power she has summoning power
and who cares if theres time travel

All author recycles their character model in a different way in a different manga. The difference is that Mashima recycles his character model way too similar to his previous works.
And how is Silver Spoon character model similar to FMA? I have read both and the characters are totally different then the characters in FMA with the exception of few characters like the Gym teacher who is similar to the captain Armstrong in FMA.
Yes Lucy has space/time power. Future Lucy shown that she can travel from the future unless she isn't the only one.

did you just...ignore the last 10 chapters or so that explained time travel?

Scrapped what i said about Lucy having space/time power for now.

Laxus vs Ogra and Erza vs Kagura seems to be the only interesting fights. Although we didn't see Rogue actually use his DF ability, I can't really see him beating Gajeel. Doubt any FT people will lose anyway.

Ah,, indeed

Kagura's backstory sounds kinda weak honestly
made me laugh when Erza said "I don't care about your grudge" and a page later went "what happened?". Erza legit not giving a crap about what the fuck happened between Kagura and Gerrard would've been so much refreshing.

not a good enough excuse. I generally forgive how generic Fairy Tail/Rave are, but Kagura just going "BTW THAT ONE GUY THAT DIED WAS MY BROTHER!" is really hamfisted.
|
lots of blood! but considering it's FT no one should die yet and erza/kagura should be only near death by now and then forced to fight the other woman with 1 to 10 odds of winning but they'll use the ultimate friendship powerup and win

great chapter cant wait for next week
