In all seriousness though she either doesn't give a fuck (which was kinda implied at the meeting with Zeref) or she is going to be playing for team Fairy Tail pretty soon. Hell she might just be really really sure she is untouchable so just waltzes in. I doubt she is following the invasion plan.

This chapter was just to set up the perfect Lucy fan service next week. She is undressing though. To get serious for a moment, there was a lot of battle scenes, including a new transformation for Mira (so manly lol), guys kicking each other in the nuts to keep morale up. And Brandish being in Lucy's house taking a bath :D Looks like she is blushing, but more likely just sweating from the hot water. I still like her and am happy she shows up with a plan that is not "imma destroy all of you and get rekt by the power of friendship". But some of the drawing angles once again made me realize that the Mangaka probably takes way too much pleasure in doing this. :D But the plot did progress, new fighting form, enemy on the inside, Natsu growing up and planning his attacks T.T A lot of battle scenes = nothing happened. as nobody beat anyone, it was just filler action scenes. New transformation for mira = okay, that was a cool piece of development, but she didn't really use it on any notable foe, so chances are that her form already got nerfed enough to be irrelevant. Brandish is in lucy's house for several chapters now, so it didn't happen in this chapter. In this chapter she just "kept being there". The only thing that this chapter brought forward was "lucy started to undress". Natsu growing up = sorry, didn't see him in any way different than usual. He was never an idiot in important fights. (well, except when he was fighting Sting and Rogue and pushed Gajeel down the mines) He's always planned stuff ahead. Kinda. Erza x sand guy's fight didn't progress either. For the entire chapter erza just kept being stuck in the sand, wondering how could it happen.

All we got was basically Mirajane, an example of Gajeel's opponent's way of attacking (which prob won't be the one featured in their battle, so we've got the equivalent of someone throwing a couple jabs), and another reminder that FT's as copy-pasta as shonen comes with Natsu the generic dumbass comedic hero who becomes smarter in combat (oh hey, does that ring a bell?), read: as plot demands.

A lot of battle scenes = nothing happened. as nobody beat anyone, it was just filler action scenes. so since noone was KO'd it was filler, therefore a chapter cant have a fight that has neither started nor stopped in that chapter since that makes it filler (in other words every fight is 2 chapters one where it starts and one where it stops and anything in between is pointless filler) We already saw their opponents yesterday (and even got their names). All we got was basically Mirajane, an example of Gajeel's opponent's way of attacking (which prob won't be the one featured in their battle, so we've got the equivalent of someone throwing a couple jabs), and another reminder that FT's as copy-pasta as shonen comes with Natsu the generic dumbass comedic hero who becomes smarter in combat (oh hey, does that ring a bell?), read: as plot demands. so since we already saw the opponents and only got to see new techniques its stupid boring filler where exactly am i misinterpreting someones words?

The pacing is awful because everything that happens could be handled in one or two pages top, and a bunch of stuff actually makes the manga worse by virtue of happening (see the whole "omg Natsu the idiot is actually smart in combat °O°" part). We didn't "get to see new techniques", we saw a picture or two that could be tied into the next chapter's content without it making much of a difference. Yes, Gajeel and Natsu's part is filler to show they're here this week while handling the whole Lucy fanservice plot. Only Mirajane's part had relevance (and I expect it to be quite promptly waved away—and the whole angle of how one of the demons actually survived when all the others were destroyed, and about Mirajane "stealing her body" over simply gaining the power to imitate her form, to be left in a corner).

Oh and anything that could be considered fleshing the story or involving more characters is also filler because its not the main character or villain. Basically the entire thing is filler apart from the chapter and the start and end of each arc as they are the only content that matters. /sarcasm off (although this seems to actually be the opinion of certain people round here)
