Natsu with his Fire DS can barely beat or can go toe to toe with Gray pre-ice dragon slayer. So if we consider his new form Gray should be better. BUT if we start to factor in Natsu's lightning-fire dragon. I think Gray is simply fucked or majority of FT at least in 1v1. | ||

Or at least they have something closely on par with each other whether it be strength/intelligence/etc. This is the type of show where you don't have to dig clearly on how equal a rivals are. No subtle strength indicators to be exact. | ||

I would say that Gray had no chance against Natsu in a serious match after the Laxus incident, as stated by someone else. And I'm guessing Dragon Force mode just stretched that gap. Anyway, any sort of power level discussion is worthless when you take into account that the power of friendship >>> everything. I'm just pissed that Gray got this powerup through hugs and nonsense instead of training like a real man... Wich reminds me of the Time Arc thingy pulled by Ultear, everyone was slacking of while Gazille trained his ass off. But ultimately that didn't pay off because everyone ended up getting a power boost due to bullshit. | ||
