Also while I do love One Piece, has no one read Toriko? I am honestly more hyped for Toriko than One Piece every week, as it is a great cheerful manga. And since I don't really read many manga yet already found one that I like even more than OP, I'm sure there have to be other good mangas out there  Or is hyping OP a joke that I don't get? (not that it wasn't great, it's just way overhyped in my humble opinion)

Idk i have been reading shit ton of long ass shounen manga like History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi but i have yet to find a shounen manga that's meets up my expectation like one piece does.

Alot of people are overly obsessed with OP. It's a good manga but it ain't half as good as these people try to make it.

No it's canon. Z movie itself isn't, but the promotional images (which included the ice leg, Akainu thin beard, etc) were.
