VGJ.T switched rolls when not necessary, so big intra-team drama?

Interesting thing when you get a Pubstack vs International LAN team on a LAN is just the fact that the real Teams actually work on the little strategic things from the mid-game on. VGJ.T would lose against most other teams they'd meet on LAN.

VGJ.T is getting items to make the fight easier, rather than FTM's approach of "we can win this at X time".

Edit: Practiced team beats pubstack that threw away several leads. That's normally what happens with all of this, but if FTM can learn to remove those errors, they can walk away with a game like this.

Rotk wasn't too pleased because he knew that as well.

Good strategy against a low experienced team: pick a carry that requires really good *team* item builds. They wouldn't itemize to cause you too much issue.

Are teams underestimating the value of taking T1s? At the very least I'd imagine a dedicated objective taker would still be mandatory.

Also Lebron has been lulworthy so far this tournament.

The good teams? No. The rest of them? Clearly, though the meta has moved far less team fight at 20 minutes, so it's not as key.

As for Lebron, yeah. NaVi doesn't have a pos 5, they've got two pos 4 and it's a big problem. Though Lebron can ward decently, so that's to his credit.

Just pick a Lina. She keeps doing damage as things go late.

Maybe the thing I still find most interesting about Wings run at TI6 is that almost no one has ever learned from that run. Wings was a T2 team that got really hot in Metas that favored them. They used extremely clever item builds to make up for their drafting approach (the items went with the drafting & counter-pick), which was much of the difference between going out last at Manila Major and winning TI6. (It helps that Faith'bian suddenly became the best in the world on about 15 heroes for a week.)

That's much of the difference between T3 and T2 teams. The item builds for the team synergize & help the team win the game, along with the path being thought out from the beginning. NaVi lost the first series against Fnatic by items that didn't do much to help them win. Fnatic won this one by building properly.

How many lane swaps? Must be a new record.

Maybe 4? It was a lot, but it was a good strategy by NaVi. I don't think they planned to swap that much, but it prevented any pressure on the Luna. That's what they really wanted.

Any other series, I'd say this is pretty much over, but not in this series.
