Someone might have made that up though, I don't know.
They could have done the drawings after the first Elimination games were finished, as there's no reason not to at that point.

EDIT: A selfish move that fucked over EVERYONE involved and he is still never going to beat Jordan. EG would have been fine since PPD and RTZ both alluded to RTZ not gelling as well with the team like last time. Universe dropped the ball because he wanted change. Puppey dropped the ball because he lost control over the team and the meta. EE dropped the ball because shit's not working and he needed to step up as drafter, which he didn't want to or couldn't handle while carrying either. Misery and w33 really worked well playstylewise. it's a shame, but at least DC is doing better now than with Yawar lmao. Why doesn't Puppey draft?

players may need sometime to get used to the new set of hotkeys, which is huge.

EE drafted at MDL, but I'm pretty sure Puppey was back to drafting at Shanghai. So, they switched around even in the previous roster formation.

He did draft against Wings pretty sure. They started the tournament trying out EE drafting against NaVi, probably due to the team just not being confident with Puppey drafting atm.

I feel pro dota is going the wrong way. The invited teams play once in a blue moon, and it shows. The sooner they stop this invite thing, the better. It is only tight between teams, because the lot of them are in the same hopeless loop. Valve going in the opposite direction and inviting more, is clearly not the answer.

I still can't believe how much people hyped Yawar on DC despite all of his teams performing poorly and him teamhopping like a hot potato

As far as I understand nothing in terms of changing hotkeys is not allowed. What's not allowed is binding multiple things to one button for example

so eg get handed the easiest group in the tournament and still can't make top 2 lol

Yeah, and group stage is great for pulling in views without a ton of pressure to perform due to double-elim. :D

Yeah, next time they can't decide which team to invite they should just lower the amount of invites instead of raising them.

The only way it goes the wrong way is if they KEEP inviting the underperfoming teams , i have 0 issues with TL/OG/Newbee /EG/Secret(defending champions) for this major , BUT after Secret being bad for so long they shouldnt get an invite for the next Valve event , EG are debatable but probably wont invite as well , it should be minimum top 6 or having a great post major season to get that autoinvite

what is this, when A won it looks like such a big deal, camera and big talk etc

personally i wouldn't say they got handed the group. with the way the draws were, they were bound to play MVP.
you could say mineski is an expected W, but MVP winning against LGD means they play. which means EG plays LGD for the marbles.
what happened was MVP lost and EG play them anyway.
they had to be rather lucky to play the two weaker teams with the winner's side team beating the other stronger team.

They are baiting the Puck , i hope Alliance wont fall for it , DONT GO PUCK GUYS , DONTNNTN
