navi vs dc GAME 2 / GG predictions, longest game and the winner of longest game

So after the first day, it's looking to be an even tournament between the regions, just as we thought. In one group, one Chinese and one Western team at the top; in the other, two Western teams.

EE and RTZ might be the biggest victim for the autoexec change. Their micro are not as crisp as they were. If it was a month ago, they shouldn't die to the sprout+shackle combo for so many times as puck and ember. Hope they can get used to it soon.

There is not way to have 2 Chinese team to advance in one group. Newbee stomp their group, and wings in the losers. Pretty even result right now.

Yes, and one of them didn't make it out. Therefore, they are even. Which is what I said.

While 2 out of 8 were Eastern today. I don't know, but it seems like you are setting yourself up, or setting up Western Dota to look bad in the disguise of something else.

Ok, given the schedule I'll be missing all these games lives.
What games should I watch or are good so far?

I actually feel bad for Artour (never thought I'll say those words in a million years)

Most navi games have been good today. The Navi game vs DC with tinker in it I considered fun, though it is very long.

2/4 on time. 1/4 10 min delay. Main stream 30 min delay. So not 1h late in any of the 4 starter games.

The way the groups work, the amount of teams from a region don't matter much, since they remove each other. For example, in Newbee's group, Empire didn't even play Newbee.
So I think it's fair to say that we can judge how well they did just by the games they win, and the games they lose.
In today's groups, it will be similar. Several of these teams won't even play each other, but we'll still be able to tell by the end who came to play, and who came just because they got an invite.

thanks, I guess I'll give Na'vi a try (havent been a fan since Ti2).
Its just that the team i wnated to watch for this 2 groups (newbee) just roflstomped and those games are probably not fun to watch.

However, in order of fairness, if one side has several regions, so should the other.

Well, it seems like on one hand you want to do regions(NA/CIS/EU), when you talk about Empire, and on the other you seem to bundle up one into Western team vs China.
In order of frequency, it seems East did the best with the little they had and only lost two series out of 5.
Of course given that 5 out of 8 are gonna be Eastern tomorrow, your point of how you do against teams from your own region are gonna misrepresent somewhat.

They lost two, and in case we want to bring in the Western Europe, America, and Eastern Europe difference, then:
Eastern Europe: 2 teams Western Europe: 2 teams America: 2 teams China: 2 teams
Eastern Europe: 1 team went through Western Europe: 1 team went through America: 1 team went through China: 1 team went through
Which is as even as it gets.
But that's with the idea that a team with four Europeans is an American team, lelz.
Today will be:
Western Europe: 2 teams America: 1 team Southeast Asia: 2 teams Korea: 1 team China: 2 teams
Which is a lot less even than what we just saw.

So Secret has three choices. Kick EE, make Puppey captain and go with a more reliable (but with lower upside) carry player, aknowledge that their roster is super talented, but may take time to gel and hold the course, or let EE continue to assemble super star rosters, make dumb decisions, and rebuild every couple of tournaments.
