You mean WHEN Secret loses. No, we won't. I doubt that Secret will win a single match, so they'll probably drop out of the lower bracket in the first round.

They are literally Suma1l and Rtz 2.0 but in different roles. Both like to afk farm, both do not like straight up fighting. Only difference in Secret compared to EG was that Suma1l can play way more mids than Rtz can.

I disagree. Universe has never been a top-tier laner, not even while EG were dominating the scene. His best attritube is timing for initiation, but Puppey's team (and the current offlane in general, really) require a more complete game. Of course confidence has put him even below his real level, but that doesn't come out of nowhere. PPD always accounted for his weaknesses, Puppey expects him to account individually for the drafts' iffy spots; it's a complete reversal of the situation.

Universe was a fucking god for ~ a year. He always got a ton out of his lane, even if he died in lane he'd always manage to take someone with him, had insane positioning, brought new heroes into the meta. If anything the offlane getting easier and easier with map changes has meant worse player's can get decent results in the offlane weakening his stock. At TI5 Zai's offlane was garbage and while I think Universe was starting his decline then he was still good enough to win TI so...Universe's mechanical skills were absolutely top tier, to think otherwise is delusional.

Universe was definitely overrated before, he was basically invisible in Dignitas and EG 1.0, he's either invisible or bad after he left the new EG.

He's super reliable in functional teams, but he was essentially a cog in PPD's machine. On his own, outside his comfort zone, he never added much to any team.

Mechanical skills is pretty much a wash at the highest level. You're not going to just beat people with sheer mechanical skill anymore. So you can't look to that for wins, you've gotta look elsewhere.

Drafting you can still flat out win through, that's a place people can look for an edge.
Synergy/Chemistry you can still win through. I feel like this is where most teams are looking right now.
One thing I think people aren't necessarily looking to is emotionally/mentally being stronger. I feel like that's the front teams need to be looking into.
