Edit: But if they didn't, then props to Na'Vi. Ehhh, for sure not what happened lol. Credit due.

Awesome series and especially game 3 from Navi. They looked like a real team for once;)

Na'vi seems to be specializing in winning full BO3 series. Yesterday their last game vs Secret was almost perfect and today vs VP (though I could not see this 1, but LD comments telling me they did pretty well). Also their only loss this tourney has been a straight out 2 game series that did not make it to the 3rd game.
So either 2-0 Na'vi or don't beat them at all..?

Cool wi and congrats! Hope the upset is not due to streaky form. I'd be happier if they show consistency, like constantly beating tier 2s, constantly putting up a fight (although losing) against tier 1s etc.

for the past 2 days i can see their drafting has been much better... they are comfortable trying out Zeus, WR .etc while getting results... also getting better at sticking with their game plan and not tilted... in g3 they were 0 5 down with 3k behind in the first 10 mins... everyone expected a 16 mins gg but the boys knew exactly what their lineup was capable of and worked with that...

Agreed. We executed OUR game plan and applied the preasure on our terms. If we beat newbee in next series we pretty much lock up a playoff spot and give ourselves a really good chance of top 2 upper bracket.

I still don't buy it. If they show consistency for some weeks, then we are good. It is nice to watch them win but this could just be some luck of the draw, hope it is not.

Na'vi beat Secret and VP on consecutive days, which are 2 of the top 3 DPC point holders. Whatever it is that Na'vi got going it is definitely not luck of the draw.
But the wins still might be fluke. There might still be 2 more tier 2 teams that Na'vi face in this tournament. Those 2 games might give us an indication of how good Na'vi is actually playing right now. If they beat them convincingly like tier 1's should, then they might actually be on the up.

my goodness of course we lose to Newbee :/ lolll

Well, even if they lose to Pain, as long as Secret and Newbee lose they qualify. Hopefully they win and not depend on others.

Tough loss. Such a big deal having been able to lock up a top two finish and get into upper bracket bo3s. We’re definitely favorites to get 3-4, but bo1 lower bracket is brutal. We’ve shown we can win any game but also lose any game.

Considering the last results of epicenter it's fairly safe to say that some stronger teams just tried stuff out because the patch just came out.
Not trying to take away that Navi is playing way better than ever since they kicked Sonneiko and lost Rodjer, the Navi of the last few tournaments wouldnt have won game 3 vs Secret nor give Newbee a challenge. But I think it's too soon to say whether they aren't just back to being a mid-level team profiting from the chaos of the early patch or are actually a team that could take a top tier team down mid patch.
It was still fun seeing them win vs Secret, I hope it lasts.

ehmm there is every chance of losing to Pain aswell and just getting knocked out.

i think the problem with navi is that they are bad but they just don't know it 🤔

So we beat VP & Secret to get knocked out by Brazil? Man, can't even be mad any more at this stuff.

They are not consistent. Winning against VP and Secret means nothing if don't get out of group stage..
Lucky days ended in wins we never saw coming. Normal days ended like they normally do, with NaVi losing to anyone.
The only thing that bothers me about all this is that those two wins will likely postpone the so much needed change in the team dynamic.
