Probably Bo1, but it might be Bo2. 7 vs 14 games for each team. However, the Main Qualifier period is a lot longer this time. There's 8 Days allotted for Main Qualifiers, which really points to Bo2 as being more likely. Also, last year, all of the Mains were up to 10 teams, while this year it is 8 teams or less.
Pretty clear sign for a much extended group phase. Or maybe we get Group phase for seeding, then 2-Loss Bracket the rest of the way.

Yeah exactly, the math checks out, it just people look at it and rage because for some reason TeamSpirit is now a top tier team because they beat EG 2-0 and CIS region is very strong right now. 2 Invites to Sea is basically TNC and Fnatic get in for free as well but no one mentions that xD

People love to hate EG, its a thing... Just like Liquid is always the good guys, It was like this in SC2 and it is like this in Dota2 
But friends, better to be hated than indifferent.

well it's understandable. TL always had a policy for professionalism, and they were always the underdogs as it felt like since way back when. doesn't help you have the name "evil" in your organizational title and people you let in your team are allowed more freedom to curse, rant and say questionable things. but hey that's why we like em.

I mean the only problem most people have with EG is probably SumaiL and artour maybe to a lesser extent at this point.

What they should be spamming. In NA, those are going to be core picks around the main NA Meta. Since Misery made support NP meta, it's a staple in NA and something to abuse.

Cr1t has been playing a lot of Chen and Willow too.
I'm glad Arteezy is back on the Visage. Even with Fear on the team, I think his Visage is better than Sumails' or Fears'

What happened to qualifiers then? Stopped after they beat that pizza team, then i went onto faceit/liqqypedia to check stuff and i can't see anything?
The whole tournament got restarted?
Oh it was on Reddit, the patch broke GC and the Faceit bots, thus disqualifying teams who weren't AFK. So rescheduling.
On a positive note hopefully the bracket is better, the bracket yesterday was awful. Had VGstorm and EG in same half!

Bracket was fine. They'd have met in the Ro4, with 3 of the top 4 qualifying. So it was seeded properly. Redoing Day 1 could actually make the bracket worse. We'll find out when it goes active in a few hours.
Either way, there's not much worry about EG, VGJ.Storm or Complexity making it to Regionals. Wasn't a good year for T3 NA stacks.
