Made it fucking hard to push towers down and made some games incredibly long. Was a brilliant idea by icefrog to remove that and add glyph instead.

And on another point, is it even possible to ever successively play a hero that requires great last hitting if you have 300-400 ping?

I play reasonably often on SEA due to having RL friends there. It becomes generally much harder to lane against competent opponents so I often resort to just playing support venomancer.

Ah alright, thanks for the responses! This makes me feel a lot better, from the reactions i got in a pub yesterday when I said my ping was 300 I started to wonder If i'd only ever be able to play support effectively

When I used to play Garena: 15-30ms ping last hitting was silk smooth. USW at the best 160ms ping: I feel there is some delay on last hitting, but it's mostly ignorable. Maybe up to 15% of last hits lost due to delay. USW on a bad day: 230ms ping: I can definitely feel the delay on last hitting, I'm missing 10->35% of last hits due to delay depending on how good the person I'm playing against is.

Yeah, my last two games there had me playing TA as my friends that couldn't play her randomed her twice in a row. TA with 350 ping, what the fuck, you say? https://dotabuff.com/matches/36940731 https://dotabuff.com/matches/36930569

It took some time getting used to the small delay but I think as long as youre playing with less than 200 ping you're fine

I swear i had some 700+gpm with ursa or huskar stomping when i just started to play the game but dotabuff cant find it (only show some 650gpm which is like back to 5months ago). The thing is i rather play semi (mainly hardlane mirana-_-) or support because i rage more when i play carry, you see the stupidest of all stupid shit like the support leeching your exp or 2v1 lane they stand behind letting the solo oppo hero get exp and gold WTF.
