the world is not filled with clones of yourself, everyone is different and entitled to do whatever they choose to be. if you dont like what somebody else is saying or doing, ignore them. what else can you do that wont damage your own image and self. i moved to canada in 99 and was in grade 6, experienced 0 racism until i changed to a black/muslim majority school in grade 7 and experienced what it was like to be bully because im different (there was like 2 chinese kids in that school). i had three choices, take the abuse, fight back or change schools, since i was a tough kid i just fought kids who were racist and bullied me and other learned by experience that this new chinese kid is not to be fucked with. the bullying stopped, but will it help them become non racists? hell no. and as adults you cant just fight other adults without serious consecquences so the only option is to take it and ignore the racist/sexist or whoever the bully is. | ||
