That's less viewers than most of the 'personalities' they bring in to participate in it.
It was pretty clear from the moment they brought up Frodan with the chicks that ESGN didn't understand eSports.
This works better (although I can't say if it actually 'works') for companies like ESWC because I don't really think ESWC care too much about their stream viewership. Their value (for sponsors) comes from the conventions where they hold the events.
And the reason it works there is because ESWC also don't really understand/care about eSports, but they're not trying to pull in the same people. ESGN competes with LCS/WCS/BTS/JD/Random Streamers/Whatever. ESWC competes with other companies at the paris games week, basically.

They did ok, but not at the top if their game. I think they will do better at TI, just becaus travel will have less of an influence and they always turn it on at TI. We will have to see.
