Xboct just don't give many fucks, he's Stannis the Mannis of doto.

Man, I want to see how many more times Kupon3ss can trash TC during this discussion and get responses from every like he is fucking deadly serious.
I'm with Yango, Mechanics is a loaded term and is so overused its almost meaningless. Its all dota. If you lose, you made poor dota decisions. If you win, you made good dota decisions. I am sure clicking quickly and accurately works in there too somehow.

ya need both to be good anyways.

I make poor dota decisions and still win. Explain pls.
Actually don't explain. I just want to argue for the sake of it

Mechanics in Dota is fundamentally different than SC2 on a professional level. The only heroes that you could make that analogy for is a Naga/PL, Mappo, and Tinker, and to some extent Chen, Visage, & Enchantress.
True mechanics for me has reaction speed + making plays based on CDS and judging how much each attack+spell does. It's all built into you, until you become Arnold Schwarzenegger.

what mr juggernaut says seems correct

I wasn't too much into cutting though, only bulking and I became a Pudge instead.

what do you guys think are the most legit pub offlaners right now? aside from phoenix I guess
|
well lich is always disgusting shit
but if ur actually good its nyx clock i guess

Centaur works fine for me.
I find Timbersaw still does work. And I can sometimes get away with stuff like LD or Furion offlane.
Most utility offlaners can actually work well. You just have to slap a necro to be able to actually break base if your team can't.
I had to split push with Dark Seer to get my 10 hero challenge win with him cause my team refused to push.

I would like to contribute to the mechanics discussion by seconding that flash's bw mechanics are indeed godlike.

lol, I thought I double posted instead of editing when I saw your LD flair below my post.
But yes, I do concur that Flash's BW mechanics are fucking sexy to watch.

cent and bat are the 2 best offlaners atm they just rule the game once they got blink

According to the my last fucking game, PA is a viable offlaner and I should solo safe lane with venge. But I live in the trench of the highest level.
Yeah fuck that though, I just take timbersaw off lane and chain till the game is over.

I hate it once you're fighting in the enemy base though. Not much trees to chain.
