She also benefits more from items which give a more even spread of stat points. 2.25 may seem like a huge damage block but considering that it occurs before damage reductions, you will still need a mixture of all three stat types. That's how I remember them playing her back around ~6.5 Edit: I also remember that often they wouldn't get BKB on her (correct me if I am wrong) because of how effective she used to be at tanking spell damage in particular (which is only reduced by 25%) and how many spells they would have to waste to take her down. | ||

The only problem is you don't contribute much to team fights until you get a lot of items, while with just radiance/phase/vanguard you can tank it up and burn people with radiance and most importantly stay in the fight. | ||

While I´m up to the front page, I´d like to applicate also: Back in Dota 1 I used many awesome dual lanes with my mate. The best one going for first blood with Tide/Slardar. You begin by using gush, then Slardar closes the distance and uses Slithereen Crush. Directly after the gush Tide has around ~80, so he uses a clarity potion so he can use a second gush before the enemy reaches his tower. Of course Slardar uses another Slithereen Crush after 8 second cooldown is over to bridge the time for Tides 12 second cooldown. The dual lane is called "They come from the deep sea" and can´t possibly fail. | ||
