You've got to be kidding announcing that two days before the actual event? Especially because theres ASUS ROG on that day as well.

What are you so worked up about? At least the Polish community only loses one player going into the qualification (Nerchio). The German community is fucked even more, because both Socke and Hasuobs will not be able to enter the qualifiers... same with Spain (Vortix, Lucifron)... D:

quite a bad bad timing with asus northcon the same week end :/
it's not like you don't have time all the following weekend, IEM Sao Paulo is end of January 2014 I think? (and not end of November 2013 as said in OP)

The announcement being so late is my fault. The actual qualifiers have been open for signups for about 2 weeks now Coming from Blizzcon straight into Cologne and then Singapore left us without much time to announce things without them being lost. It's not often we have 3 events with news in the space of 3 weeks.
Former ESL League Operations. I ran IEM/WCS for like 3 years or something. I did map vetos on a tablet. That guy.

Nobody is complaining solely about Nerchio. I was referring to other players as well. Thats hella unprofessional to announce qualifiers two days prior to the event. Hopefully something can be done about that.

Is there anything you can do to move the qualifiers to lets say monday? Or preferably at a even later date?

Why is Stephano here? He should be in the NA qualifiers.

sure the announcement is late, but why this weekend and not the next? Sao Paulo is in 2 months!

The ATC finals are scheduled for the very next weekend, not too good of a term either.

Hopefully Stephano will practice some before this, would love to see some play other than swarm hosts this time!

edit: sounds like I'm bashing him, not my intention. Just want him to do well, that's all!

Plus ESL already holds the EPS Germany finals on that weekend.

They should just hold the qualifier during the week, when there is little chance of colliding with a big event.
