Just saw this as the top story of Yahoo news:

That's a slideshow of the best costumes. Mostly Warcraft-related and several Diablo, but I'm sure people have either played those or would like to see them anyway.

I thought it was pretty cool to see Blizz getting a bit of attention here. The costumes are very impressive. Also, nice one by the adjutant, that was really spot on.

What are everyone's thoughts?

Yeah I was surprised too, rather than the usual "LOL what nerds" or "WoW and Starcraft are gay" or "This is the problem with this generation and why the nation is going to hell and it's all Obama's fault" that you see as comments on those articles.

People are genuinely impressed by the costumes. Even non-gamers.

Activision Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar corporation, so the fact that it's in the news should not be a big deal.

On top of that, the article you linked to is in Yahoo! Games. Do you really lose your mind and consider posting every time a gaming-centric site writes about anything related to Starcraft? Because that's exactly what you're doing.

ahh i did not even realize that. well i guess that makes the positive comments a little more understandable even though i'm not sure what games a "yahoo gamer" plays

I go to my homepage of yahoo and see a fucking adjutant, I thought maybe people might care on the Starcraft community site. Sorry, I'm obviously a horrible person, I'll let everyone go back to talking about how bad HOTS will be now.
