ditto. he's a typical terran play like a machine. seems like there is a trend in the pro-circuit: a cyborg terran pro dominates for a certain amount of time until a better cyborg terran pro arises. how many of these clones have we had already? nada, xellos, and themarine just to name a few. (OK, so xellos and themarine are 100% robots). But there is a distinctive move that iloveoov likes to do in about 90% of his 1.09 reps and that 2rax, fast cc and even do a variation of a fast cc build more than 50% of the time vs toss. I can still see that he had kept this trend up while conquering the major leagues. so in short: #1. he's terran #2. there's no flare in his playstyle #3. what's new? | ||

ILoveOOv and NaDa are different machine Terrans. NaDa will always get his natural and win with nothing else due to insane harrassment. ILoveOOv will always have more bases and win. The former machine Terran is more liked. Anyone who says OOv has no variation is a fool. He doesn't have as much variation as BoxeR, but he still has a lot of variation. | ||

i became on oov fan after that game vs nal_ra on requiem where he stopped rA's cannon rush... it showed he was versitile and could adapt to situations creatively. (nexus kill vs zeus, etc) he's simply the favorite, and lots of people don't like the current dominant player. this favorite status coupled with his "boring" play style that makes people dislike him. | ||

It's the fans associated with oov. A lot have an image as fair-weather fans. They liked Nada cuz he was doing well, liked XXX cuz they were doing well etc etc. It's like they arent true fans of a player but a fan of whoever wins and people don't wanna associate with a bunch of fair weather fans. In a fpvod vs dream.t.siva i saw him drop 8m@m at the side of 9, stim the rines, and just attackmove towards the base, then going back to macromode. Maybe he got a spire or den or something in the base, but he didnt care-_-, he never looked til it was dead | ||
