Stuff like this can happen, and as announced they had problems with the EU bnet. But come on. Three days to fix this (and counting...)? There are much smaller companies handling situations like these much more professional. Take CCP for example. They host the Eve-Online Server with 50k people playing which needs to handle much more complex content. And they are like 25% the size of Blizzard. Yeah sure its a beta, you have to take that into account, but srsly these guys are not doing this the first time. But what really startled me was the lag of information blizzard was abble to promote concerning the whole beta phase 2. Where is the problem in writing a short note like 3 days before they plan to relaunch the beta? and why does it take them 2 days to get a small announcment (like 2 sentences) concerning the malfunction of the EU bnet to reach their future and pressent customers? Why not just write a message saying: OK, we got some issues here which concern this and that and we hope to have them fixed around this time? Overall this leaves a very unprofessional impression. | ||
