Zergs kept losing their expos, and only Luxury can make up for this weakness currently. Watch Flash vs Luxury series in OSL.

Spoiler JD vs Hwasin @ proleague

+ Show Spoiler +
Jaedong is going to own this up. Hwasin managed to get a huge early lead with his cheesy vultures, but had a very difficult time sealing the deal. Unless Hwasin manages to get a similar early lead three games in the series, I just don't see him being able to compete with JD in the mid to late game

Let's not forget that Jaedong also slowed Hwasin down a lot via zergling harass (forced cancelling of the almost-done nat CC) and actually made up a lot for the early vulture play. Hwasin's economy after that very quick proxy fac was also very weak. The vultures did have some effect on the outcome (as did Jaedong's awry judgment), but it was clearly Hwasin's excellent marine/medic control and game sense that won him the match.

Hwasin Hwaiting!!!

I think Hwasin will take this series if they both decide to play straight up games. Hwasin also seems to be trying to shed away his predictability recently, in the past, his opponents could expect him to play standard and FE.

Hwasin may have cheesed to gain an advantage on Blue Storm, but I think unpredictability is the aspect Hwasin lacked in order to win a starleague.

Lets not forget that these 2 played each other in proleague twice this round:

Win this MSL Hwasin and lead STX to a proleague title.

I believe

I hope Jaedong has gotten his act together his last few ZvTs weren't his usual ones, but he always does well in multi set matches.

Game by game, it's a coin flip.

But I think Jaedong is a favorite in a best of five.

JD managed to survive those vultures without huge losses. Remember that Hwasin did a ridiculous 8 rax 9 gas build, and then had his expo delayed by lings. Going into the mid game it was just about even, but it was JD's awful decision to build mutas all of which he lost to 2 irradiates that set him behind. After that, Hwasin's vessel tech was too quick and irradiate didn't let him ever get enough lurkers at once to fight the mm.

You are thoroughly confused. OSL is the league that has bo3's split up into two days for the ro8. MSL does that for the ro16 and switches to bo5's all on one day for the ro8. The match that Hwasin and Jaedong recently played was for STX vs Lecaf in the Proleague. So this MSL match between Hwasin and Jaedong is simply a bo5 that will start and finish all in one night.

Lets not forget that JD lost a full harass group of mutas to 2 irradiates and STILL managed to stick in with Insurance. JD isn't going to be making such mistakes ^^

Thats kind of because he couldn't make it to the bo5 stage in the last two OSL's. MSL he did prove himself though.

When Hwasin beats Luxury in a BO3, I'll agree with this. Until then, it's a difficult proposition to prove this

Come on guys! Hwasin deserves some love!

How many times have we watched him lose a close series to the eventual champion or runner-up? Too many. No more pain for this poor Terran warrior, I say!

Also I'd like to mention that Hwasin has already kind of won one Bo5 against JD - he's 3-0 against JD this year!

Hwasin fighting~
