Yeh, thought so, since ICM runs WCG. When I think about it though, didn't games like Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3 had this sort of system way earlier back? Such a shame that Starcraft got this sexeh technology so late. | ||

I always say that Bisu\'s major strength is that he\'s just mechanically so far ahead of every other protoss, and I still get blown away when I see games like that one. How the fuck did he do all of that at once? | ||

light mining corner expand at 1, and expanding at 5 Hwasin has starport, probably gonna do some goldrops soon hwasin goldrops light\'s main and kills quite a few scvs, and escapes with his ship, because light has no antiair now he redrops main while going to his natural with his original ship, killing lots of scvs | ||

a quick look at hwasin's base shows that he has few tanks but a lot of gols and that hes ready to mass drop hwasins tanks get damaged by lights mines hwasin drops lights main with support from lower ground. seems to do alot of damage Light trying to counter | ||

it seems that light has the 2 expos below his base and hwasin all the upper expos Hwasin dropping Lights lowest expo Light defending with some tanks Light has 4 dropships himself now too Hwasin has 5. both are moving out. clash in the middle big drop on lights tanks while advancing with goltank, clearing lights army. not looking good for light here | ||

Light has many tanks on low ground, both setting up around a no mans land Hwasin reloading dropships, seems to go for the expands. Hwasin redropping the expand at 6 with alot of vults Light loses quite a few ships, only has 3 left now, but defends the expo Hwasin taking all the expos at the left side Light definately needs to pressure that Realizing that, hwasin moves his troops left to defend those expos | ||

Lone Bc llight picking off 2 more bcs that wanted to yamato light was attacking the left expo with some wraiths so hwasin though he could safely yamato but it was a slick move by light light has like 4 keys of wraiths, hwasin needs more valks light ferrying gols on to the expo, and advancing upwards to kill all those turrets there HWASIN MOVING WITH HIS MAIN FORCE DOWNWARDS oh hes not attacking Light's gols killing the comsat and starports, looks like hwasin is reatreating to kill em but light has his wraiths ready to move in | ||

These new maps are looking more and more like BGH, one can secure at least one expo (if not two) with no trouble what so ever. So Bisu expoed faster than GGPlay, with one canon, and then having more than he needed just harassed GGplay into oblivion. And more than that he had another handy expo on an island... No zerg can win against a perfect play (or close to perfect) by the protoss player on these stupid maps. I know Savior is smart and I'm still hoping that he will find the key. I already see the signs, he's trying new things, 8-9 pools, fast gas, I don't know, he seems he's planning | ||

Bisu won that game because he is inhumanly efficient. He harassed perfectly and I'm still surprised at how fast he got that big ground army. It doesn't matter what map it is, no Zerg can beat Bisu when he plays like that. | ||

When I three base I usually end up with an econ similar to the Protoss at the critical point. GGPlay was ridiculously far behind in econ. He should have been at the gates of Bisu's FE, but instead he was sitting there in his base with all his hydra while Bisu's production was kicking in... | ||

On the other hand, in this GGplay vs Bisu game, Bisu made reavers. If I'm not mistaken, zerg is supposed to expand like wildfire early against reaver+sair because it's much slower and less effficient at taking down start-up expansions when the zerg expands a lot. I do think the late second expo by GGplay is what cost him the game. Also, in game 2 of the MSL (savior vs bisu) on reverse temple, bisu went reaver first and savior would've been in good position if it wasn't for his poor hatchery placement in the expansion near middle. Those walls in the middle on reverse temple fucked savior up, if it wasn't for that, expanding a lot in that situation would've paid off. | ||

It's probably a bad idea, in a map where 4-5 pooling is feasible, Bisu usually 6pylon scouts 7gate. Z has had more success just overloading him with hydras when he fe's although that hasn't held up in bo3 matchplay. | ||

There are couple o games in which I don't see any big mistakes from Savior and he's still losing. thats pretty much it, no one appears to be able to match him, playing standard but nobody is invincible, people will either develop a style that counters him, which would be interesing because he doesnt really have a unique, counterable style, or they will have to catch up in mechanics. its kind of equivalent to what savior's zvt was, he fine-tuned a few aspects, mainly defiler play, but it was nothing revolutionary. he was just really fucking good at it. | ||

bisu is killing ovies, sneaking DTs, reavers, harassing all over the map and then they cut back to his base and he's shuttle-maynarded two groups of probes to an island and has 8 gates and a huge army. it was just so impressive, it reminds me of those games you play where you just feel like your opponent is everywhere and you feel like you're swimming upstream the entire game. ggplay eventually loses a second here or there running drones, or losing an extra ovie, or having a few larvae idle for a few more seconds, etc. it just adds up over time. bisu being just a little faster with his superior multitask wore ggplay down bit by bit. ggplay couldn't attack the entire game save for some tiny counter when bisu was warping his 3rd. | ||

Bisu can do all is magic by hiding behind an easily defendable expo, and generally taking advantage of maps (very close now to the old BGH). Had he been under any kind of pressure (July style) I'm sure he'd lose his beat too. | ||

Then he tried to push into Bisu's expo without Ovie speed and got punished with dark templar. Anyways, point being that even if the map was Nemesis (yeah yeah, I know) he almost beat Bisu despite going with a 9 pool and being inanely conservative with his expos. He cut drones too much to have a chance after that, but if he was actually dedicating himself to killing off the FE, he'd have been fine (either push later before storm or just expand everywhere). I don't think the July game was anywhere near representative of what you need to do, since Bisu didn't FE. I suppose that if one were to go a double expo against a single base Bisu, the chance of getting punished is pretty high... but given that he FEs in like 90% of his games, why the heck no zergs have actually gone with a dedicated 3 base hydra rush without screwing around with muta/scourge is beyond me. Fend off the initial sair/dt harass, keep your hydra in your base until you can just plow through the expo. Hell, get the ovie transport upgrade and drop his main if you feel like it (although don't be like Gorush and have your drop die to the corsairs -.-). | ||
