Feel bad for Larva, but happy Flash won the series at least. Larva was doing really well with the mutas that game too.

I think Flash may have just retired Larva Flash also played way better here than he did vs Soma (regardless of the better rolls)

Seemed kinda shook) he could have definitely beat Soma and maybe even won the whole thing with random. If Flash got all the benefits of random without any of its downside he would had better shot yeah

The casters were kind of overhyping how well he was doing though. He was going a bit too hard and losing too many mutas. With that fast 3rd all muta build you need to either snowball substantial damage into a win where you can eventually camp over the raxes with muta and bring ling, (Larva wasnt really close to that) or at least establish solid control and have preferably fast ultras out if not a defiler by the time the push comes. Larva didn't even save enough muta to attempt to snipe the tanks or mount any defense.

If he was on point he could have won that even with the opens and BOs he chose (although I do take issue with his openers because Soma was always going to go with more aggressive opens - it is just better vs random and especially the eco cheese Flash was showing a propensity for. 3 hatch before pool was a hard read on a 12 hatch and I dont think Soma ever 12 hatches there)

Knowing how much FlaSh prepares his games as Terran I think it must be exhausting to do the same for every matchup.I think he did better than most of people expected. But I really doubt he is coming next season as Random again.

He needed to snipe the vessels I think. To pinpoint where he lost is quite difficult. I'd say when he went a little too hard over the natural, trying to kill 4 turrets without anything done, or when he went in again in the main, right before he got irradiated. The fumbled play where he went into the main without even hitting the vessel, flying over the group of marines just sealed the deal.
