Hello everyone, are you #StayingHomeAndPlayingStarcraft ?
What can be better than staying at home and playing StarCraft these days? BSL Nation Wars, obviously! Join BSL Ladder tournaments and have a chance to represent your country in a battle of nations!
1. BSL9 Nation Wars
On April 3rd we will pick five highest ranked players (with at least 20 games played) from each country and count their average MMR. Eight countries with the highest MMR will be seeded in a single-elimination bracket. In order to give each player an opportunity to participate in BSL9 Nation Wars, we will group countries that don't have five players geographically. Once a nation has five or more players - it will receive a separate team.
All matches will be played on Sunday, April 5th, 18:00 CET and casted on Thursday - Saturday, April 9th-11th 18:00 CET.
If you are playing BSL9 ladder and can't or don't want to participate in Nation Wars, please inform BSL admins and we will exclude you from the rankings.

I'm actually sick at the moment (probably not covid-19), but having BSL on tonight is one of the few things i'm looking forward too today. Big thanks to BSL team and every player who participates!
Let's do some lottery! This week we have 25 players out of 29 that didn't give walkovers. Here are they: Now we will randomize the list and player who will be in the first line wins $5 Congratulations UltrA!
BSL9 Gosu/Chobo Tour #1 starts in 3 hours: Sign up. Top32 players in the BSL10 ranking can not play in this tour. You need to have a BSL9-YourUsername account with at least 5 ladder games. You also need to register it on BSL website..
Guys, this week during ladder tournament we had unpleasant situation with the rule: a) everyone who played at least 20 games in the BSL9 ladder stage is allowed to play.
Long story short: Mr. Spx asked us if we will allow him to play without these games, or he has to lose these games on-purpose ? When admins told him that he has to play games normally - he didn't listen to them and wanted my opinion on that, then when I didn't answer on time, he lost each game in 3-4 seconds and immediately had "enough games" for the tournament. We still didn't allow him to play. (This tour it was 5 games required, but that's not the point)
I can see two problems here, and will try to solve them so we never have to talk about it anymore.
1. Rule is not clear, I get it. 1) Reason for that rule is to give people who are playing in BSL ladder, some award for being active. From now on losing games on-purpos just to take part in the ladder tournaments will be treated as: a) unsportsmanlike behavior; b) not respecting the spirit of fair play; 2) From now on rule is: Everyone who played at least 20 Games in the BSL9 ladder stage is allowed to play in ladder tournaments. Game - One of first 20 games played in BSL ladder stage. Played in Starcraft:Remastered, ranked game, on BSL-Nickname, which last at least 2 minutes, where your motivation is to win. 2. There are some players who don't respect other BSL admins decisions. Let me expain you how it works in BSL: a) BSL Staff is a team. I'm the head and I'm responsible for all the decisions, but we are discussing all the issues together and I have all my faith in all of my admins. If they are saying something, you should respect that and listen to them. Don't worry - whenever there is hard or new situation we face, they are coming to our admin channel and ask what we should do before answering to the issue publicly. Everyone makes misstakes, I'm the great example - look at the rule above. But when you feel like some admin decision offended you - send me PM and describe the issue, don't disrespect admin publicly. Everyone can have bad day. BSL is all about love to BW and respect to eachother, and let's keep it this way - If we will lost that, I will lost interest in this project as well.

Thanks guys.
Is this why some of the teams disappeared, or is it just the count resetting? Looking at the nations standing I remember seeing Team Chile two days ago and Team Hungary one day ago, but now both of those teams have disappeared.
