Awesome series of TvT tonight. My favourite match up of Starcraft. Shame Sharp couldn't get the win and help my fantasy team some more. I wanted to see Sharp win so he could beat Rain again and try to beat the beast Effort. I just don't see Last taking more than one game of Rain in a Bo.5

Already predicting Effort vs Rain grand final.

Gad it's been too long since I saw a great TvT between good players. what a wonderful night, sad to see sharp get handled there at the end, He really did play fanstastically all the way though but Last's macro is still something else even with his health issues. Sad we didn't see a single battlecruiser though.

This was definitely the best series of this ASL so far, great play from both players. I really hope Last can keep his form and make a great series in the semis. I think sharp seems to have better tvp, but mini vs effort and presumably rain vs last is still a great set of players for a semifinals.

He is always so manner and works so hard its impossible not to root for the guy

Looking like a Rain vs Effort finals more and more. would be quite an upset if effort doesn't get to the finals but I could see Rain losing to ether Horang or Last on the way there...

I'm so glad Last played well! Sharp would have probably fared better against P(Rain, especially), but Last's best shape is definitely a match for Effort, who is sometimes prone to upset himself and might not reach the finals anyway.

Doubtful but an upset would be huge. Hoping Horang takes a couple games off Rain but almost certainly won’t happen.

Last looked so focused during those games. You could just feel his intensity. Both he and sharp were awesome. What a great series!

Intense series. They were the second and third most winning TvT players. Think Rain lucked out here with his opponent. Last was an absolute macro god despite worries about his wrist. I do think that Sharp's tactical abilities and vulture runbys would have been the scarier opponent for Rain to deal with.

Both players should be happy though. Played a series to the quality of a finals.

Last victory was really incredible considering his condition. I have been cheering for Last since 2010 proleague season... I asked Letmelose what his situation is and got this: + Show Spoiler +

His wrists are fucked (even more so than the usual wrist injuries found in gamers). For the past several months, Last has been seeking medical attention on a daily basis, and is on pain mediciations non-stop. It is pretty bad. His condition will never get fully fixed, and people will just have to hope that his situation improves over time

I hope that after this tournament Last takes care of himself.
