Clash for Char is a long running series of tournaments hosted by myself and casted by Me and Sayle. People have had a lot of fun so far and I hope the fun will continue! I've had to move it to a Friday (UK Time) due to my own scheduling problems, but hopefully that won't ruin it or cause any issues for anyone!
On the finals - no maps are banned and games played in above order.
Disconnect Rules
If a player disconnects then it is an automatic loss for the person who disconnected.
The only time this isn't applicable is if BOTH players agree to a regame.
Notes:
- First week was great fun, please see VOD in previous thread below. - Revised ban rules to make it more obvious. - Replays autosave within My Documents > Starcraft > Maps > AutoSave - Upload them on Challonge after your game!
Sayle pointed out an issue in the thread title, the thread title is meant to be 18:00UTC, I messed up a bit. Would a mod be able to fix it for me please?
the problem with dantes peak is that is has 2 (or 3) black hole ramps, with one of them being the bottom right main ramp. because of this i never take the bottom right main as a 3rd base in zvt.

There's tours (like the TL Open tonight that I'll also be casting with Sayle, Schamtoo, supernovamaniac and GTR that block koreanns from entering which I think is a good thing. I also think it's good to have tournaments where both the korean and foreign communities can interact with each other. Clash for Char will always be a tournament open to everyone, I hope everyone has fun watching and playing as that's always been my goal when hosting this.
Hopefully it doesn't put people off playing in future or watching as I'm really happy the Clash for Char has come this far (6 tournaments! and I'm casting with Sayle which I could've never thought I'd be able to do previously) so I look forward to making this continue! Thanks for the support everyone so far. I'm just uploading the VODs now.

PS: i also want to join those spon-matches, but my main stream platform is twitch, and my partnership will go against the rules for streaming 2 platforms at the same time. I dont have connection with those spon-match's viewers. I have lack of size to practice to become better, and ladder games are just meaningless when you are start reaching high levels.

Yes Alexi, it is only a matter of time however that he will fall like all the others. We will not send him reinforcements, our men are too important for that.
With the tournament coming to a close, all the money has been paid out and the brackets finalised. We had the highest prize pool ever for the Clash for Char thanks to some amazingly generous donations so thank you very much to everyone who donated! I once again had a huge amount of fun organising this and seeing so many great players play so I'd also like to thank everyone who signed up to play again. We had a few no shows like Mekhami who actually fell asleep, but it's all good. I hope you all had a bunch of fun playing and I hope I'll see you all next time also!
I think Twitch partnership is one more level higher than twitch affiliate, and i got my twitch partnership 5 or 6 years ago.
I sorta read twitch partnership rules, it seemed like i cannot multi-stream to make money. But dunno why i never got a warning from twitch staff for streaming on youtube at the same time.
Firebathero gave up his "best bj" title on afreeca. - normal bj gets 60% of the money from balloon - best bj gets 70% - first bj (? I forgot. Flash has or had it) gets 80%
If you have a best bj or higher title on afreeca, you cannot multi-stream.

While what you're doing hosting the tournament is admireable, and I love your stream/casting and passion for the game, the fact that korean players involved in the tournament constantly makes players forfeit because of lag/latency issues even on TR8 (as dandy did yesterday), there really doesn't need to be anything else said as to why this hurts your tournament. However noble your idea of an open tournament to everyone is, lag ruins the experience. And unfortunately, European and south american players lag with koreans. So it's up to you whats more important, these 1-2 people who come to your events to score a quick buck, or the competitive integrity of your tournament, providing decent latency so that players can control their units as they are accustomed to.
