My opinion:

vesk0- you're right - it is a bit sneaky to make an absurd race pick because it's an island map. I agree.
However, where you are wrong: If you knew he is not allowed to do this - why did you ever agree to play the game? From the start if you simply said, "It is not your registered match up" and then posted in this thread, you would have been fine. You really chose this upon yourself, unfortunately. You agreed to it then you complain AFTER that he chose the wrong match up....

Julia- It is a bit sneaky play, but since he agreed to play - I think you are fine in my book

There is nothing to discuss here as it is totaly absurd. Sneaky, he didn't knew there are other races in brood war... well, now he knows, rotfl.

Or look at wallace who says if I only played as 13Julia, he would not go 0:8 in tour... what do you have to take to believe this nonsense :D

People have race-picked vs maps in wcg tournaments and it has always happened. First tour ever where it is not obvious, that you can race pick in starcraft.

You never see any complaints about the opponent's race from the top players. Why would they complain.

Fine, he has a point there, since we all know protoss is imba, but we can't ban protosses from tournaments lol

Even if Julia is retarded, he is still right this time. All this whining about playing other race. What the hell? Its his OFFRACE. Why do you whine, if he is playing his weaker race? And if you do not want him to do it, then dont join the game and play it. Get an admin to decide.

Whining after losing, praying for regame has literally no-class at all, dude.

Also the general oppinion on playing more than one race or even random, is retarded. Why do you want to force someone into playing one single race. Some people (f.e. me) like to have some variety in starcraft. Playing random gives you no advantage against opponents playing one race. Only disadvantages like less training or more BOs to learn. Still the people with the advantage cry about it all the time. Time to man up and stop crying, guys!

Do you have thinking issues? Playing random vs a race you already know gives you no advantage? :D:D Yeah, only like the fact that you know what BO to open vs your opponent whilst he has no clue which BO to start with, because he could be facing all three races, but he doesn't know which one. Also that forces your opponent to send a really early scout, hurting his economy, probably pick a bad BO to open with as well, since he won't get the scouting information in time(especially on 4 player maps) and he is already behind and screwed since the beginning, because he is playing against random. These things are not advantage? It's even worse if its mirror match-ups. I'm sure all of you random users know all this, but act as if you have IQ below 80 and try to convince people it is completely fair for both players
