I got a W.O. too and it was comptletly fair and square. I would like to add, that, in my opinion, L_master has nothing to be wary about.
When you are in-game, and have to coordinate micro, macro, probe making things, army, and storm control, the last thing your going to do is answer any kind of msg that comes your way. And the fact that he said so when he left the game means that (and i have/had nodoubt here) that he is honest. Not saying DeSPa should not have a punishment. I' m just saying Kai made a mistake, shit happens, everybody makes mistakes. Team will pay a price, and we move on to next week, week 3.
I' m much more interested about who is Freedom as well.

Again really sorry to my own team, especially Lmaster to have put him in such a situation, and team Courage for cheating the way I did. I really meant no harm, and didn't realise what I had been doing was cheating, but simply giving advice. In hindsight I can see I have made a mistake and will face the consequences. Again really sorry to all the parties involved.

Even if it was just advice as in "Make more Gateways" or "Pay attention to idle workers", you shouldn't be communicating with the player at all. Although depending on the degree of the advice and how much you exactly said, I'd say DeSPA shouldn't be allowed to have any of their players obs any matches from now on.

Apparently Korean clans disable allied vision to the observers unless the observer is on their team, and then allow the observer to coach them while they play, often over VOIP, including in clan wars, so it's not entirely unusual. However, the foreign scene has never done that, so it's fair enough that Kai gets in trouble for it.
I find it quite surprising that Freedom was able to beat Arca, icedraco, and TheMarine in PvP, as all of them, particularly the last two, are talented PvP players. I'm no longer part of sB so I feel free to mention I think it's somewhat suspicious.

If I may add my two cents, I feel that nothing but not having obs is fool-proof; cheating is possible no matter what, and easy to hide.
However, I don't feel like banning an entire team from obsing for the actions of one member is fair. An individual punishment might be more appropriate because honestly there is absolutely no time in even amateur leagues and games, hell even UMS pub obs, where communication between obs and player is condoned. These matches are not practice games.

I agree, especially since suspicion surrounded the team since before the league began. However, we must trust chrisolo's judgment. If he approved of the player, then he has deemed his skill level appropriate. I think more than one series and one MU are needed to judge skill. It's not hard to believe that someone can win a mirror matchup a few times - some players are just better at certain MU while others hold them back from hitting C- (which they might be able to if they dodge the unfavorable matchups *cough* pvz tvp zvt). Keep in mind that the players playing in this league that we know of might not be the best D+ players out there.
