No way you can come back again to Brood War OSL's when you kept hyping it as the last one, talking about it as such, etc. I'm sorry but SC2 to OGN just has more potential

. Just one thing I keep thinking, why don't we just establish a bigger foreign scene and also watch out for the chinese scene?

Goodbye BW, started watching in 2008 and just fell in love with you. I wished I followed you more closely in 2010, but other than that I have no regrets. You will always have a special place in my heart, and to all the my fellow BW fans, it was a pleasure watching BW and live reporting with you guys, it saddens me that this is the last time that this will ever happen, but it has been an absolute blast. Thank you BroodWar for the amazing entertainment you have provided me over the years, farewell my friend :')

Well, after some odd 13 years of war... Protoss won in the end.

Which is why it's a "good" moment to do the switch. If they waited until BW died on it's own, they wouldn't be able to abuse the emotional factor to get viewers for SC2 and it would probably have failed. At least that makes sense to me from OGN's standpoint.

To think about how many hours we and the players have spent on this game, how much enjoyment we have gotten out of this. How much all the people involved in professional Brood War sacrificed to make BW what it became. Even if all the guys at OGN, all the players and all the fans will focus on other games in the future and enjoy them, nothing will ever become what was Brood War. It will always be there in our hearts.

I hope I can go online one day when I'm old to find VOD's and remember why I fell in love with this game, to think back on all the memories from LR threads, chats and all the fun and laugher that was shared.

As a Fantasy fan today might just be the worst day of my life

His chance to make history, and he won't have it again. He won't get a second chance and its all because of blizzard/kespa whatever. So sad.

I'm really glad I threw out my Friday and go to sleep early for this. BW was a huge part of my life growing up, I have played it since 2002 and the passion I have for the game is incredible.
