I think Flash alone will not handle SKT, its a KT fan dream

Flash all-killed SKT last season of Winners League and now he's even better. He'll do it again.

are you sure?

reading the korean battle reports there seems to be a ton of luck involved (bisu getting lucky attacking roro's nat, baby missing fantasy's proxy barracks) with tonight's matches and i only read two BRs lol

Hm? Bisu didn't get lucky at all, he just played better in that game.

why watch it then? O_o

Hope is the last thing that leaves us. The hope for good games.

I hope expansion will be able to somehow solve this side effect of a user-friendly(for lazy gamers) rts image sc2 has now. Only strong competition and game difficulty can elevate the interest of games like sc and cs to such a level of enjoyment. Thats the problem with new sc i guess

Best beat Flash this season of Proleague. He'll do it again? I mean it's just not a really valid way to demonstrate your point.

Okay minor gripe time:

Good lord you flash fans are relentless. Not exactly sure what is accomplished by going through a thread and promoting your favorite player regarding a proleague round that is still far away. We all know Flash is godlike and he will own it up in WL...no need to mention it everywhere you know?

Of all the times for my ISP to do maintenance. Literally at the beginning of the Ace match!

Ah well, guess I can look forward to the Moktira upload. Based on this thread it sounded like a pretty intense, albeit quick, game.

I have to give Fantasy a lot of credit for stepping up after his comments recently about being disappointed he wasn't the obvious Ace choice. Personally I think it's healthy for SKT to have the 3 options for the Ace match, but I probably have the most confidence in Fantasy atm when it comes to the crunch.

Looking forward to the winners' interviews. Shame we probably won't get to read one from the Coach, as I'd be interested to hear his rationale behind playing so many Toss'. I think it's safe to say that Bisu will be asked about the OSL exit.

The Korean BRs seem to imply that Roro had an early advantage (despite DT harass) after taking down Corsairs and HTs, and while Roro's lurkers were in the center, Bisu snuck in and took down one of the expos (and without lurkers to shrivel down Bisu's army, couldn't defend against the protoss ball)

Sounds like one of the players was just off position to me :O But i'll have to watch the games later to properly see ^^;

from my POV I don't think Bisu's attack on roro's nat was luck

Baby definitely lost the build order mindgames with 13cc vs center rax before depot, though

Roro probably had a slight advantage but Bisu got a few drones too and Roro lost quite some mining time before getting his 4th, so it looked almost even.

Roro might have been surprised by one of Bisu's attacks on top left, and he did look so, but that's not being unlucky, that's having bad scouting.

Sounds like one of the players was just off position to me :O But i'll have to watch the games later to properly see ^^;

Roro was indeed. But that has nothing to do with luck. Now Baby vs Fanta g1 might be another story. Both went for gamble builds in a mirror matchup so obviously it was quite luck-involved. Well at least the bunker war made it hilarious in a good way.

wow, Im actually surprised WeMade were able to take us to Ace Match, well done by them. As for RorO, his record vs Bisu tells the whole story

The guy said it's a KT fans dream, ok? It happened before, Flash has a roughly 80% winrate vs players currently on SKT since his reign as bonjwa began (30+ games), he's now better than ever and will be given 2 chances in WL. I definitely think he'll pull it off. ^__^

My hate for SKT is even greater now because they are doing great this season . I wait for the day when they will get owned hard. The only thing I like about SKT is Afrotoss and he failed today

Yep scouting the opponent army is nothing like a BO loss behind wall in. Or that sort of rock paper scissors stuff we have in early game TvT.
If not late game PvP would be only luck involved I guess, as army positionning is preponderant.
Sad that Fox could not pull it off, there pretty close !
