Stork coming off of his fresh ace against MBC is going to only fortify his strength furthermore. Stork is playing absolutely spectacular- no doubt in my mind he is the best Protoss in progaming at the moment.

One thing is still undoubted - all those MSL maps are zerg-favorite ones.

Stork is going to steamroll Zero almost as bad as Jaedong will steamroll Snow. Other than that, I hope for Calm and Kal - which would provide us with a Jaedong/Kal and a Calm/Stork ro4, am I right?

No, Jaedong faces the winner of Calm/Hydra.

It's nothing rare, it happens whenever maps/metagame don't really favor terran, or any other race for that matter.

This is incorrect. Let me state this to set the record straight:

This is the only MSL Ro8 that has ever had 0 Terran players. It is unprecedented.

Last season had 0 Protoss in the Ro8, but this is the first without Terran. In addition, there is only one other MSL Ro8 without a Protoss: Trigem in 2003. Zerg have been in every Ro8.

How is that nothing rare? It's only the third time a race has had no representative in the MSL Ro8, and the first for Terran.

No, Jaedong faces the winner of Calm/Hydra.
Right, thanks. I suppose it won't affect the outcome, though.

				 Jaedong 3-0 Snow
Best ZvP of all time vs some Protoss. Normally, I would call 3-1 for Zerg, but it's not Zerg. It's Jaedong.

  Hydra 3-1 Calm
Hydra is damn underrated, but he won't be anymore after this. Sorry Clam, but you're not good enough.

  Stork 3-2 Zero
The closest one IMO. Even though I like Zero, Stork has the momentum and will win after epic match.

  Great 3-1 Kal
I think Kal won't pass this obstacle. Somehow, mid-level Zergs (hi Modesty) are able to smash his PvZ.

two miricals isn't that much, right?
LOL a little random, but were you drunk when you wrote this?
It's not a insult =] It's just the first time I've seen you post without capitals + so many typos.

JD v Snow is likely to be a rollover, but I am a little worried about the (inevitable) J v Stork.

I was worried finals might be a let down once Flash stumbled out of the MSL, but JD v. Stork finals would be epic given how good Stork has been.

Or Kal vs JD, where Kal will finally get his revenge for all those times JD knocked him out of tournaments.

How many times did JD knock him out of tournaments. Off the top of my head, I think it was 4 MSLs that JD knocked him out of, as well as contributing to knocking out Kal in Ro16 of Batoo?

I think there is only 3 people with winning records against JD:Stork - 14-12
 Flash - 23-20
Bisu - 7-9 (wow they haven't played much)

 People in the ro8:
Kal is 4-15 against JD lol
 Snow - 0-1
 Hydra - 2-4
 Calm - 4-6
 Great - 1-4

In a bo5 it will be very difficult for anyone to take out JD.

If stork and JD meet in the finals, it will be epic as fuck

EDIT: forGG's record vs JD is 4-1! :-(

 Backho - 1-0 (

 Frozean - 2-1
 Tempest - 2-1

Might be a couple more somewhere, but yes, not too many players have winning records against him (though a handful are tied at head-to-heads).

edit: for completion's sake, here are the rest:

 sheis - 2-0 (retired)
 u-238 2-1 (retired)
 freedom - 1-0 (retired)
 s2 - 1-0
 sair - 2-1

 wow casy!!!
a lot of those are really really surprising, thanks for sharing
still though, the point is that in a bo5 I don't see anyone besides stork or flash being able to beat him.

Backho undefeated against JD on official matches, I wonder how they both feel about that? lol

Oh true, I just don't think Kal can come close to getting revenge, and I say that as someone who really likes Kal.
