If someone came up to me a few weeks ago and told me to bet 1 dollar for 1000 that ssak would be the last terran player, I probably wouldnt have done it...and now hes the closest left. Hopefully we dont see ZvZ finals as I would rather have an epic ZvP (my favorite m/u)

Amazing how Terrans look so defeatable when Flash is out...
|
Ssak will be a hero when he makes it to RO8 as the only Terran. This is the first time the top Terran isn't Flash since Avalon MSL with Iris in the semis.

Just for "fun" i looked at January Kespa rankings and matched the brackets, assuming that no one comes from behind.
Jaedong v. Snow Kal v. Great Stork v. Zero Calm v. Hydra
Pretty darn nice. If Ssak Hogil or Soulkey win matches, then they are worse player by ranking and Jaedong plays them instead. Everyone else gets moved up and pairing change.

Stork vs ZerO would be nuts. I'd be rooting for my SBG all the way... but considering SvJ recently that could be Stork's hardest Zerg opponent.
|
Ssak-the terran hero? Probably not, but it would be funny if he gets to the Ro8 or semis.

Even though Ssak is from SKT... I just find him too amusing to support. I mean, I'll cheer for him and all, but in the end, I'll be loling no matter what he does. Probably because I still can't believe that he made it into the Ro16. XD

But I have to admit, these match-ups (and Ssak instead of Calm) look very entertaining.

Damn you're right, lol. My zerg bias was blinding me.
If Ssak wins:
Jaedong v. Ssak Kal v. Snow Stork v. Great Hydra v. Zero

Jaedong vs Ssak, now that would be fun! :D Please let that happen! JD can get revenge for Flash!

Well i am rooting for Snow to win,but unfortunately it's highly unlikely.

Too bad Hogil didn't win, no revenge for JD.

so, zero needs to beat sork, and then jaedong needs to lose to either calm, hydra, snow, or zero for zero to have a chance....
two miricals isn't that much, right?

High probability of JD > Snow IMO. Snow's PvZ has been sub-par, only really beating HoGiL since early/mid November of last year, whereas JD's ZvP has been absolutely stellar, only really losing to Stork, and the occasional Bisu/Kal, with all remaining matches being W's since February of 2010.
Obviously living in the past isn't going to determine the winner, but statistic-wise, JD is a heavy favorite to take Snow and advance to the Ro4. Plus, I believe JD will keep his promise he made to Fomos (And Shin-ae!) to impress his fans and not leave them disappointed from his sub-par performance in 2010.
Lee Jae Dong hwaiting!~~
