Hi i played this game on ICCup, this guy seemed really bad but I dont know how i could have beaten him.
I think my major problems were in my build order. His build order was very bad so i didnt know what to do vs it. Normally I win games no problem at D/D+ level in pvp but this guy threw me off, he didnt do at all what I expected. Thats why I hate playing vs bad players..they always make weird choices and i am forced to adapt from their noobness.
He went 2 gate goons into into observers..this is something I only see D/D- players do so i quickly adapted and went three gate goon reaver. I think i should have gone 5 gate goons perhaps or maybe even 6 and completely smashed him.
Anyways another mistake i made was when i went out I didnt keep an eye on my shuttle and it got sniped. Normally I dont have to do this vs good players because they are afraid for their goons to die but this guy was bad and didnt care i guess.
Then he attacked at me which was unexpected but I used my good micro skills and picked off his shuttle, but i was overrun by dragoons so i had to back off. Clearly he was all-in goons at this point. Gah. Anyways he attacks me at my choke and micro my reaver perfectly but he breaks my nat anyways cause is is all in goons so i lose the game.
But yeah, I had no idea what to do vs this bad play so im asking for some help.

Oh i forgot to add, my friend luckyfool played this guy too. He is B- and lost to him as well. He would also like advice.

First off, I dunno why you think he's so bad. He played better than you did that game, and his account is 5-0, so he's not a total noob.
And he just macroed slightly better that game, and you made a few small errors that added up. Losing the shuttle, bad positioning in the last fight. It was kinda a close game, but he had reaver advantage and good position at the end.

Seriously... troll? This guy is not a noob, he had very high apm, he had very solid mechanics, he was not at all, all in goons (infact, he didnt even have his 3rd or 4th gateway up before the game was decided in the last fight), he was ahead of you economically and just outmacrod you. 2gate obs expand is a fairly std build order, not a noob one... Things you could've done better were obvious, such as not losing your shuttle (that played a huge roll), and having better mechanics yourself...

First off, did you even watch ur own replay? Most of what you describe is the exact opposite of what really happened. Mostly the part about him being bad.

u both did roughly the same build order until you added 3rd gate and he went for expo. Try watching your own replays with a discerning eye? Its clear why you lost. You did a timing attack 3gate goon +2reaver but lost both the reavers. he had an expo and equal units while you had no expo. gg

Haha for those who didn't get it, the protoss "ktrolster1" is KT_Stats. He says so in game 1 and hotkeys verify that it is him.
