I don't know why Lomo didn't do more dropship play. If he had dropped rines earlier (like he did near the end) he probably would have won. Or he could have used dropships to help transfer parts of his army past the dark swarm and attack the base or contain reinforcements. Ameba had much better unit control midgame. He was darkswarming/consuming all over the place and attacking. It may have been because he had less to macro but his macro was still fabulous. I still think two port vessels would have been a good choice. He could have irradiated even more lurkers at once and gone mass firebats to kill everything else under swarm. Pretty interesting game. I expected more drop play from Lomo. | ||
