I've been in the SC scene since 2000 and I cannot recall one regular female caster in the foreigner scene.. Bunny/Klazart's wife don't count =P I'd love to see Peanut work on her game and improve.. It'd be nice to hear a female's opinion once in a while. I think that she needs to find something she excels at in commentating, and try to perfect it.. like tasteless is great at freaking out over exciting battles and making some funny geek jokes once in a while, artosis is good at explaining the action and giving strategic analysis, daniel lee is super funny and obviously has very good strategic analysis since he was estro's coach for many years. I don't know what she'd be good at, but It's pretty exciting to see so many good non korean commentators now.. for a while there, we only had wacksteven and shit =P | ||

Seriously though, what can a woman offer over a man and vice versa when commentating on starcraft? I saw Bunny during the WWI and she has it, Daniel despite being a little annoying for some in the beginning has it, but Peanut doesn't have it. I do think the "let's make everyone a commentator" movement hopefully will find better commentator's in general and will raise the bar for quality and professionalism in starcraft casting. | ||

Artosis is great, especially when he's paired with Daniel Lee. I hope those two keep casting as a duo for years to come. | ||

We appreciate hearing about the stories of the gamers, and why each person is doing what they're doing, not what they're doing. If one of my friend's was watching, they'd want to know what they're doing, and stuff that's common sense to us. I don't think she's bad, I just think it's gonna be hard for her to impress the people at tl.net, maybe if she was a little more excited when she was casting people would enjoy her commentating more. Regardless, as long as Artosis is there, they'll be good commentaries. I wouldn't say it's bad though, a good first try. | ||

I wouldn't say it's bad though, a good first try. it wasnt horrible for a first cast, but you can tell she really doesnt know anything about the game, all she can do is say exactly what is happening at the moment, as if we couldnt see it for ourselves. also, i don;t know if anyone else did, but i found her voice pretty annoying | ||
