It's not an official announcement, but his ASL Team League presentation is public confidence because Piano is scheduled to be the director of Fleeing.
He only partially disclosed the ASL Team League regulations.
First, there are 8 teams and each team has at least 5 gamers.
The selection method is a point draft, and the points allocation of players is not disclosed until the official announcement.
Stork and Piano participate as playing directors.
8 teams are divided into four teams to proceed in a dual-tournament style.
ASL Team League tournament's format is Bo7.
1set - 1vs1
2set - 1vs1
3set - 2vs2 Team Play
4set - 1vs1
5set - 1vs1
6set - 3vs3 Fastest
7set - Ace Match
Tournament schedule has not been made public.

I really dislike the 3v3 fastest mode being used.. but oh well, Im sure this is going to be an awesome league anyways

I would love to see proper 3v3 map used for this.
I guess every1 plays on Fastest so they are familiar with it...

3v3 fastest is super popular in Korea and has been used in BJ Destruction as well, so that's why we see it here. The games are usually fairly short so it's alright. I for one would have rather seen a female streamer per team to boost popularity, but maybe thats part of the 1v1s.

3v3 fastest Zero Clutter no rush 15 was all I played back in 2000~2002 years. Can't believe 3v3 fastest made its way to the pro scene lol.

Would've loved it to be a 3v3 bgh or regular hunters instead of fastest but this looks hype either way. I can't wait for the fastest pros to come out with their clutch strats. Better see some stupid ebay lifts.

fastest included in bj destruction was fun sounds like even more of that w/ higher quality teams but it being crucial game 6 I don't like that, I think that will take away lot of the intensity of end-games
Otherwise, in general, unbelievable that we still get team league in 2020. Magical, really. Thumbs up hands down

I'm sure they have good reasons for choosing Fastest. The details are hazy, but I remember Flash losing to some amateur who specialized on Fastest?

From what Ive seen on zeros stream when they've practiced fastest it will be action packed and different viewing experience, very entertaining '(

Great to hear, even the fastest should be fun.. although I agree about BGH being better. Also I really dislike the fastest map koreans play on, prefer the one without walls and with stacked minerals.

It is interesting that Korean community for some reason refuses to use standard maps for 2v2. It has been iron courtain + hunters for last 15 years lol.
I think foreigner 2v2 on standard maps is really great both for watching and playing.
