 elimination groups and brackets running for months are weird. [[[[[[]]]]]]] i wish they would try UFC's MMA format: each broadcast has undercard matches; and a championship headliner. Each of the 6 matchups would have a champion; and a 7th world championship belt would rule us all. | ||

To have a champ of each matchup you'd need 9: ZvZ, ZvP, ZvT, TvT, TvP, TvZ, PvP, PvZ, PvT. | ||

i only mean that the format for the last couple decades maybe could be revamped. 6+1 championship belts or 9+1 : both have appeal. if it's 2 broadcasts a week with 10 titles, then we churn the scene on average in 5 weeks at 2 title fights a week. with 7 titles maybe only1 title fight a week. it is all day dreaming. perhaps a smaller tourament will be interested. | ||
