Pretty sneaky tho to get the best coach in sc2 when there is a deal to not make any sc2 player transfers. ^^
IMO Coach Lee (formerly of MBC Game Hero) is the best sc2 coach, even though his reputation is quite bad, the ammount of talent that has emerged from his team in INSANE. I mean like aLive (Fnatic), Rain (Fnatic), Puma (EG), JYP (EG), Heart (Complexity), and now with their new lineup their pretty much starting to look a bit like a mini-Woongjin a bit (considering how good SymboL/Shine/HyuN have been playing lately).
I'm also pretty impressed with Coach Kim from startale, I believe he was appointed as Coach this year and ever since then ST has had most players in Code S + The GSTL finals.
Ah I didn't mean to compare him to Coach Lee and Startale coach. I ment more like... game/race coach(?). Hmm don't know how to explain it. But Coach Lee and Startale coach are more like managers too since they own their teams and do all the management stuff like the part Jessica does for SlayerS while Coach Ryu only focused on the gameplay and was a pure coach. You don't have guys like than in the SC2 teams. The only ones I know was Coach Ryu and Cella in SlayerS.
You mean like director? Coach Kim is not the director for Startale, Coach Won is (formerly of Pactech/WeMadeFox). Coach Kim is just game coach, that's why im so impressed by him. He got employed this year and directly after that Startale owned it up in GSTL and Code S, so it was really impressive. But I understand what you mean, the coaching staffs at most sc2 teams are quite unknown therefore it's kind of hard to know about stuff like that.
interesting... wouldn't surprise me if more recently retired people start streaming into the kespa run teams like this guy (can't place this guy though, is he a retired bw player?)

As far as I know, Soulkey is still playing Zerg in Sc2.

Needed a picture to jog my memory. I do recall seeing him helping out a lot of SlayerS players in the booth quite a bit last year. Considering how good SlayerS Terrans are in the SC2 scene, perhaps with his help "Woongjin Terran" will be a term to fear, not deride. And perhaps the shift is already occurring with Woongjin Terran alumni IM.MVP still doing well in SC2.
I think its good for the development of sc2 for kespa players if they get a few sc2 coaches. Getting a coach this experienced will be a huge bonus for stars.
